Oh, hello again, Monday...

Eh. It's Monday again. Boo... fun's over. LOL Hubby's back to work and it's back to it just being Sofia and I during the day. Somehow it just doesn't feel the same without him. That's why I always look forward to the weekends! It was a great weekend though, I must say. We went on our little family trip to the mountains on Saturday and did a lot of cleaning and laundry yesterday. I'm caught up with laundry! YES! Believe it or not, we do go through laundry like crazy between the three of us. Specially my little princess. She still goes through at least two different outfits a day. Guess she wouldn't be a kid if she didn't, right? *hehe*

So before I ramble some more, I updated the blog some more. You like??? I absolutely LOVE my blog right now! The header/logo is my favorite part. It took me days to figure out what I wanted. And one thing led to another and when I did that logo I was like literally yelling out "YES! YES! This is exactly what I've been wanting!" I wanted a BIG BOLD but simple logo. No fancy shmancy art. Just text. With different colors. BAM! Got it. It's there. Done. Perfect! I also added some text to the slides up top. Yes, I definitely love the new look. It makes me want to write more. As silly as that sounds...

Enough blog talk. I wanted to share a few things I'm lovin' right now.

1. Pantone® Mug duck egg blue 337 C- I would LOVE to have this mug so I can drink my morning hot water with lemon, or hot chocolate or tea. And it's in my favorite shade. Anybody wanna buy it for me??? *hehehe* It's only £7.90

2. Glass Bottle Living Installation - I loveeeeee glass jars. I think I may try to make this myself. =)

3. 0 go 255 - Awesome free tool for color lovers like myself!

4. The Shutter Divas - A creative flickr group of women with weekly photography assignments. Need a little inspiration? This is the place to be! I joined but... I'm not sure I can commit to it since I don't have a DSLR anymore and my little point and shoot, just doesn't do it for me. =/ But I totally recommend it! Get your creative juices flowing!

5. Peppermint Hot Chocolate - This weekend when we were in Cloudcroft, we stopped at this little cafe shop and I ordered one of these. I've been wanting one every day. I know... bad me! Talk about calories! But it's soooooo yummy! I made one for my hubby this morning before he left to work and he loved it! Check out a few recipes listed here.

And with that I say have a lovely day. I have an iChat date with my sister and I'm beyond excited! I miss my family back in Cali so much.

  3. Thanks girl! Aren't the glass bottles cute? I HAVE to try doing it. =)
Did you get laundry done? Yes, I'm so glad I got it done. Laundry is one of my least favorite chores. Getting it put away is the worst part for me. I can wash and wash, that's no big deal... but folding it and putting it away that's the hard part for me. LOL If you're anything like me, best of luck with that. haha

It was a bit hard to read some of the light blue link's but that's because I'm Mrs. Magoo! lol Thanks for the links and I love peppermint mocha but with coffee, it's my fav especially around the holidays. xox
