Gone.

I'm around... I've just been really bad with blogging now days. I feel no inspiration whatsoever. I apologize for disappearing off the face of blogging sphere. I have the worst case of "lazy ass". LOL! Seriously. What is new on my end...? Oh... a lot but the worst thing that has happened to me recently is that my camera was stolen. Gosh, everytime I think about it I get sad and then I get really angry. Sad that someone stole it but angry at myself for being so careless. The worst part is I don't even know where or when it was stolen. You see, sometimes I can go weeks without picking up my camera. Well - lately anyway. By the time I decided I wanted to use my camera which was the day of my daughter's birthday party (which was a blast too, BTW!), I realized it was missing. I looked for it for days and then I realized it was gone. And then I thought, "well how could that have happened?" And then I just came to the conclusion that it was stolen. So it was probably stolen weeks before I even realized it was missing. How horrible am I? So... augh. Oh well.... it's gone now, I can't stress about it anymore. Believe me, I have. And I even took it out on my husband. LOL Poor guy. Hopefully I can get a new camera early next year. I'm crossing my fingers but I'm not holding my breath. =/ Such is life. Now it just sucks because I feel like I have my hands tied behind me. My camera was like... my extra set of eyes. LOL It feels so weird not having it anymore. But oh well... MOVING ON.



So I changed my blog design a little bit. Not a HUGE change but different enough where it feels fresh to me again. Right now I"m in this phase in my life where I HATE clutter. I want things as simple as possible. And every time I came to my blog, I felt like I had clutter. LOL I wanted something more simple and soothing but not boring. And I think I'm finally content with it. LOL We'll see...

I wish I had pictures to share with you of Sofia's 3rd Birthday party but again... I didn't have my camera that day so... I missed a lot of special moments on camera. I'll have to remember to ask my sister in law for some pics since she was taking some that day. It was great though - the party. All the girls invited were asked to dress like fairies or princesses and the boys were asked to dress like pirates or lost boys. All of them were dressed up! It was cute. Sofia was supposed to be "Tinkerbell" but she was so cranky from skipping her nap that she decided she wasn't in the mood to dress up. She was the only one not dressed up. How funny is that? LOL I had to apologize to parents and explain why the birthday was not participating in the "dressing up" dept. haha! She was so tired and hungry that she threw a fit. So you know that song that goes, "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to... cry if I want to... CRY IF I WANT TOOOOO...." Well, that was her that day. She was having a meltdown. Oh gosh... it was so stressful. She wanted Momma and Momma was so busy being a hostess... BUT.

Looking back... even though it was very stressful? It was worth it. She won't remember a thing but it made us happy to do that for her. To make her day special. She got SO many gifts. I actually put some away in the closet to wrap up under the tree for Christmas. LOL She has so many toys, it's not even funny! I was hoping she'd get more clothes than toys, since she has enough but.. that didn't happen! HAHA! I'm just glad that her bday party is over and I have a whole year to recoup. Not only was it stressful but EXPENSIVE. Sheesh! haha

Anyway... I heard about this NabloPomo thing yesterday so since I need something to encourage me to write more, I decided to sign up a day late. Better late than never, right? Wish me luck. =)
