Yes, she's mine, FREAKO!

Reflection of me...

Hubby's sick. Poor guy. We picked up a ton of leaves from our front yard on Saturday. Leaves that had been sitting there since, oh? November sometime? LOL Yeah, we're horrible about things like that. And today he woke up feeling miserable. He felt like a flu coming over, only it wasn't. So weird. I think I know what got him sick though. A combination of his allergies and probably inhaling dust, dirt and mold on the leaves from when he was putting in the bag. I tried to help but I spent most of the time running after Sofia making sure she wouldn't stray too far or run into the street. That's my biggest fear. Anyway... so I didn't get sick and HE was in bed all day today. And Sofia and I were pretty bored. So what do we do when we're bored? Go to Grandma R's house! She lives down the street. It's a short walk away. Well... that short walk seemed like an eternity for me today!

So we got our stuff and left the house. We crossed the street and when we got to the other side, Sofia noticed these flowers again:
:: I guess she just has that magic touch... ::
She went to pull some out and play with them. She lovesssss flowers! So I stand there and just observe her. While at the same time tell her, "Come on Sofia... let's go to Grandma's house! Want to go play with her at her house?" You know, trying to encourage her to keep goingggg... She decides to sit down instead. Boo... I stand there and wait patiently. No rush. While I'm standing there, I notice this weird old man riding slowly on his bike. He's coming around the corner down our way. No biggie right? Only he was staring and just STARING and riding slowly and it just creeped me out! So he rides literally SUPER SLOW by us, like he's going to come up to us or something. He gets closer and OMG, he looked creepy! I think he was a homeless guy. I know it's wrong to stereotype but he looked like one. My heart beats faster, he has this weird stare, I call to Sofia, "Come on baby, let's go." and I pick her up. Not giving her an option. As I do this, he rides by us. SLowly, mind you.... so I turn around to look behind me and he's still STARING at US. WTF? So as I turn around to go my jolly ol' way, he TURNS around and rides behind us. Coming towards us. I turn to look at him, he looks at me, Ummm.... HELLO!??? Do I fn' KNOW YOU? I'm thinking? He says, "What was she doing sitting on the grass?" he yells out. Wait. WHAT??? Is this guy talking to me??? "What...?" I look over at him... "WHAT WAS SHE DOING SITTING ON THE GRASS?" I know he's not the owner of the house because I've seen them BEFORE! I get really freaked out and pissed off at this poing, "Picking flowers.", I reply to him in a tone like, "What's it to you???" and he continues to follow us. He says, "Is that little girl yours?" WAIT. WHAT? Is this fucking weirdo KIDDING ME??? Is he really asking me this? And for WHAT fucking reason? "YES. SHE'S MINE." He nods his head like, "Oh ok, you can keep her." WHAT??? OMFG, I swear I was so pist off I was shaking and my heart was beating 100mph. That little short walk to Grandma R's house felt like an eternity. He took off before we got to Grandma R's house but OMG. I wanted to run.

I thought this guy was going to jack me for my baby or something. SERIOUSLY! OMG... As you can tell I'm still worked up about it. When I got to Grandma R's house I told her what happened and she said, "OMG. What a weirdo. Yeah, we've come across him before. I think he's homeless because he came over here one day and asked us if we could give him money because he had to get himself some insuline shots. That he had diabetes and that he'd be going into a diabetic shock if he didn't get them. That he needed sugar?" ???? She said they offered him candy and that he got all crazy on them. She said, "He got really rowdy with us, got all offended and I thought he was going to come back and kill us..!" OMG. Apparently, she says, he's known to ride his bike around the neighborhood and just observes people and looks into people's houses when he rides by. Now is that freakin' scary or what? See? This is exactly why I'm a freak about closing curtains all the time! I don't know but if I ever come across him again and he approaches me in any manner like that, I'm calling 911! I felt in danger when he did that so... AUGH! Freakin' FREAKO!

*sigh* I tell u.... Ok. Sorry, just had to share and vent. What a Sunday!

ps. And for the record, after being at Grandma R's house for a little while, she needed to go to the store so I offered to take her. On the drive there, we ran into him again in the street. He was riding opposite direction. Grandma R said, "Is that the guy that came up to you?" I said, "YES! That's HIM!" She said, "yeah, that's the same guy who came up to us asking for money." ... =/

  5. You did the right thing, avoiding that weirdo and getting your baby out of there. Always go with instinct and if its screaming this guy is a freak then believe it. That is crazy though he rides around peeping in windows. If he ever does by yours our he offends you again dial for the police. If he is harassing people the police need to know. Who knows he could be a pedifiler (sp?). I don't mean to scare you and all but I say this because of our town. Small town you have seen it. All my life I have never seen so many homeless standing on corners for hand outs. And in the paper they list sex offenders that have moved to our area. We have to post them up at school so its a constant reminder for me. We had this homeless (I assume from the looks) guy walk by our house a few times. He always stopped and would sit on the wall and peep at our house. Then he would pretend to tie his shoe. I told Ray, well one day he was outside and the guy comes by. He is acting weird and Ray looks at him like he is going to kick his butt. The guy lingers and Ray yells out "You better keep walking, you are trespassing!" and they guy takes off. LOL
Sad thing is the economy is so bad we have more homeless and desperate people. We have had allot of robberies. I agree my curtains close before dark! lol Love you!
Oh and referring to your other post go ask the neighbor! lol I did, the tree photos are of the neighbors. I asked because its in front of their window and didn't want them to think I was a freak. They were more than happy to. I even printed a few and stuck them in their mail box with a thank you. lol

  6. Thanks everyone for the comments. =)

Stephanie: LMBO! I can just imagine how scared that guy got of Ray. LOL Joe would probably have done the same thing. And when Joe gives that mean look, you better run for SURE! LMBO! Oh, how sweet of a gesture you did for your neighbor! That definitely encourages me. I will have to do that too. Thank you so much! I'll try to do that today.

    Hugs and Love you!

  7. Yikes! Years ago we had a weirdo like this hanging around. He was handicapped, mentally ill and dangerous.

His handicap was his 'in' ... nobody wants to be mean to the 'crippled guy'. Once you were nice to him, you were doomed.

It was awful. I was always calling the police.

Our society doesn't do a very good job of taking care of the mentally ill. Then they end up on the streets terrorizing US!

I am happy you and baby are safe.
