My first maternity shoot!

So ok. I did it! Finally did it... Dude, it's so hard to be creative when it comes to taking pictures of pregnant women. I dunno, I'm so new to it I guess that's why I feel that way. Anyway, she was great to work with. At first I was a little upset because it felt like I was bothering her to take pics when she had asked me to do it. And with a baby, I wanted to get it done when the window of opportunity was open because if not, forget it. It wouldn't get done. And I know she wanted them badly so that's why I bugged her about it for the past 2 days. LOL Anyway... they are private. She didn't want me to post them for the whole world to see. I respect that. So if you're a registered member, you can log in and view them. If you're not, what are you waiting for? LOL Register! I think next time we do some more shots like this for her, we'll have to do it at her house. The only room that gets the best light in the house is Sofia's so we had to shoot in that room and I got a lot of pink tones. And she's having a BOY! LOL So I edited them to the best of my ability. So... oh well. I mean, they're not GREAT GREAT but I'm happy with them. I hope she is too. What do you guys think? =) Easy on me now...

    You did a really good job Ana, and with more practice you will get even better. I think it's great for being your first shoot. :)

    The 1st is my fav! You did a great job. How far along? She is tiny. Was she happy? I bet she ask you to do baby shots when he is born too. They are great!

    Ana could you make a trip to Mexico to take my photos when I have a child? pleaaaaaaasee!! all the pictures came out lovely but the 1st one and the one with the polaroid are the best

    I think they are beautiful Ana. I wiah I lived closer I would have you do my pregnancy shoot. I have never had any pregnant pictures taken with my kids and want some at least for these twins.I think you should do proffesional photography I think you are really good.you have natural talent for it.

    i tried to register so i could see the pics but i never got anything sent to my email. just wanted you to know. i would love to see the pics though! i'm sure they're quite special.

    Hi hon! I'm so sorry! I didn't realize I had registrations waiting for my approval. Usually it notifies me. But not lately. Thank you for bringing that up to my attention because I had at least 20 waiting in there! lol Hope you can get in now. So sorry!

    Connie: I put her in front of a window where there's a lot of light coming through, and bumped up the ISO, the shutter speed and set the aperture to it's lowest setting. That's how I got her silhouette to come out. Then of course, I altered it in Photoshop. =) Oh yeah, and used NO FLASH! Bleaugh! haha
