Spring is in the air... and a meme!

Yesterday while we were hanging out in the front of our house with Sofia, what seemed to look like a humming bird flew up to my flowers and started feeding off of it. At first I was like, "OMG! No! My flowers!" but then I thought, "ohhhh... but it's a humming bird. I'll leave it alone." When I pointed it out to my hubby he said, "That's not a HUMMINGBIRD! It's a MOTH." I said, "No way... it's a hummingbird. Look at how it flies and look at its beak." Well... of course, you know me, I ran inside to grab my cam and shot away. After looking at it closer I realized that hubby was right. It wasn't a hummingbird. But what the heck was it then? I processed my pictures and then I googled for images of moths in New Mexico. Right away I saw one exactly like the one I photographed.... and when I went to the page came to find out its called a "hummingbird moth". Apparently a lot of people mistake them for humming birds. Duh! Me! Hello? LOL It was fun to photograph it though. It was so mellow. Wasn't even afraid of me or anything. I was literally inches away from it and it was paying me no mind. *hehe*


Today was pretty uneventful. The weather was gorgeous though! I played with Sofia in the front yard, swung her in her swing,

let her explore my flowers, we played with rocks *her favorite!* and then we went to Grandma R's house to let her run around free in her fenced in front yard. She loves that! The highlight of my day had to be seeing Sofia spoon feed herself! She finally has it down! She sometimes still has a bit of a hard time scooping soup into her spoon but for the most part, she's got it down to a T. And then another awesome sight was watching her squeal in delight when she saw Daddy drive up to the front of the house when he got home from work. She kept laughing and yelling, "Dadddeeee... Daddeeee... Daddeeeee" LOL!

It was so cute! It's so awesome to see her grow up, be more independent and develop into her own little person. The most awesome thing ever, I swear. I always catch myself staring at her with googoo eyes. She's so precious...

I am feeling great too. I started my blood pressure medication and I feel soooooo much better. Normally I feel my heart racing 100mph every day. Specially after I eat (because of the sodium) but not anymore. I can sleep better too. I'm only on 10mg of what the doctor prescribed so it's a very low dose. But still makes a huge great difference to me! Yayy.

3. Do you like Peeps? OMG. Do I??? I ate a whole row of them today! In PINK! hahahaha They're my favorite candy in Easter.

5. Do you put decorative cling-ons on your windows for different holidays? haha. No.

7. Which celebrity should be flown into outer space or placed on a desert island? LOL Ummm... I can't think of anybody. How mean! LOL

8. Would you support schools changing the "open" time? Such as 10am - 5pm, for example? Yes. We did it in school in Mexico! I went to school in the afternoon shift. I remember getting home around 6 or 7pm'ish. (It was a long walk to and from school) but hey, it was ok!
