Sorry I haven't been around much lately. Just been busy. Taking care of my bebe... As you may have already guessed, yeah, I failed at the whole 365 picture a day thing. Pfrrrtt. I knew I wouldn't be able to stick to it. But I tried. For less than a week. Like Char mentioned in one of her comments, life gets in the way. So freakin' true. I'll still be posting pictures. Almost everyday. But no commitment. Sorry y'all. I suck at commitments! LOL Anyway... let's see... what's been going on here. A LOT actually... It's just so late now, I will have to post later. I would have written an entry but hubby was busy shopping online. We got our state taxes so ummm... he went and bought us a new iMac and an Airport Extreme. Woohooo!
Well, it's mostly for him. I'm getting meself a new cam AND I'll be upgrading the memory on this thing. It's so slow when I open PS. Augh. But anyway... we're just waiting for that other chunka money to order my new cam. SO excited! Still haven't decided what cam but I'll decide when the $ gets here. LOL Ummm... oh yeah. And we got 2 fish as pets! LOL Sofia likes fish so Mommy agreed to take care of them for her enjoyment. LOL I'll blog more about those later. Here's 2 pics for now. One taken on Friday. And the second taken on Saturday on our way to the base exchange to go shopping. She looked soooooo cute in that dress.
ps. Oh and I meant to share this video last week but didn't get around to doing it. It's a video of Sofia dancing to "Yo Gabba Gabba". That is her all time favorite show! I think it's amazing that she is SO into that show because that show is mostly targeted for pre-schoolers, right? Yet, she understands a lot of the show and just gets so entertained by it! I will get a new one when Mo hits Middle School. They use Mac laptops......heck I think they can ck them out too? Well anyway I will give her mine and get a new one then.

Hola Tocayita!! Looks like Joe got hooked up with new toys!! I'm loving Sofia's picture and video!! Sooo adorable!! She's really growing up fast!! BTW, the 365 picture thing is really tough to stay on top of. **Knock on wood** I've been able to successfully post a picture 7 days straight... hope I can continue to post one daily. Turns out I find it very helpful. Hugs!!

i wish we would've gotten taxes back, but we got zip, where the husband was deployed. the new mac seems like a super awesome gift though. i have never used one. i might look into buying one some day. we just purchased a regular ole' desktop from walmart! :) lol.
ReplyDeleteSteph: He's going to use it when he travels. LOL He bought a traveling case for it so it's easy to travel with. They're so much cheaper than laptops dude! He wanted a laptop but the macpros are just too ridiculously expensive! LOL New computer is always nice! I "may" get a new one too... I need one badly... but if I want a new iMac, that means I have to go with a cheaper cam and that means I might have to go back to Canon! Which is really no biggie, I like Canon too but I do like Nikon more. Their camera bodies are so much better... asa far as feel and stuff but the Nikon d80-d200 make very noisy images and that's what I was looking at. So I may get the equivalent in Canon form. The 40d. Yep. New Cam and new iMac sounds much better. haha I could get the d300 but that means no new pc and I need a new pc. This thing runs so SLOW. What I plan to do is just use this mac for pictures and editing and use the new one for surfing and stuff. {shruggs shoulders} I dunno for sure yet though! Ahhh... decisions, decisions!

ReplyDeleteOneHappyWife: Well... it's a router. You can use it to connect up to 50 computers. Obviously we don't have that many but it comes useful because we'll be having 3 soon. AND I have an iTouch. AND when my nephew comes over, he brings his laptop so he can hook up to the internet through ours. Ya know? AND if you have an external drive, you can connect it to the router base (airport) and all of those connected computers to your network can use it too. Have access to it. Make sense? Also you can connect your printer to airport and you can print anything from any of those computers connected to your network. Pretty neato, no? You gotta get it too!
