I hearted Wednesday.

Today was definitely a much better day than yesterday. But I think it had a lot to do with my attitude. In my mind I went to bed knowing today would be a much better day. So I woke up with a much better and happier attitude which rubbed off on Sofia. She was in a WONDERFUL mood all day. I know when she has her tantrums and meltdowns that it's not her fault. She's just being her. I think I just feel so drained and tired and stressed at the end of the day (specially right now) that my patience runs a little low and she feels that and it hurts her feelings and then it's just like a chain. Gets worse and worse. So anyway... yeah, attitude change, CHECK!

We played in her new room. Which btw, have I mentioned how much I love it??? Seriously. It's so pretty... and calming and just... ahhhh... NICE. We read books, played with dolls, stacked blocks, you name it. We did it. She had a short nap today. I think the dogs barking outside woke her up though. But that's ok. She woke up in a good mood. Short nap meant she'd go to bed earlier. YES! haha We went outside for a little while but I brought her back in because it was way too hot. The Sun is just blazin here, for real! I put a hat but I didn't have one and I was just dying! Hot weather and me don't mix well. Sorry. Bring back my lover, the cold. LOL I took some pictures of her out there too. She loves being outside...






Speaking of pictures... have I mentioned my nephew and his wife (who literally live right next door to us) are expecting a baby in July? Well... after they saw the pictures I've taken of Sofia since she was a baby, they asked me to take her maternity portraits. I'm so excited about that. That is a really compliment when people want me to take pictures of them. I don't do photography for a living, but I do it for a hobby because I absolutely LOVE it and although I don't get paid either, I consider it my first maternity shoot. Why not, right? With me luck! I'm doing her shoot this Saturday. I'll ask her if I can show you guys what I did for her.
