Today. In all its pinkness.

Today was rough, let me tell ya. Sofia is going into that "terrible twos" phase. You know, temper tantrums, meltdowns, on the go-go-go! Yes... OMG. Today was rough. I'm working on putting her to sleep in her toddler bed. Trying to transition her in. I don't know how it's going to work out. I mean, if it's going to be successful or not. She was not happy. But I'm slowly working it in. I have to lay with her though, otherwise, she ain't havin' it. *sigh* Anyway... lots of tantrums and meltdowns from her today. But you know what? It's ok. That's mommy-life. This too shall pass. It will get better. It's just rough right now you know? I could use a little help. LOL

The bedroom however was a sucess! When we woke up in the morning, first thing I did was put her bedroom back together. LOL I rearranged her room this time. I like the way it's set up now better. Looks like she has more room in there. I'm giving away her diaper changing table in a few months so they'll be even more room then. My nephew's expecting in July so I am letting them have Sofia's diaper changing table. She won't fit into it anymore by then. I'll be a little sad to let it go... but reality is, who knows when we'll have another baby. NOT any time soon, obviously! So... it'll come in handy for them, I'm sure. And it's in great shape. When Sofia saw her room she had a BIG smile on her face! She actually opened her mouth like "woooowww..." lol A little shocked, but excited! haha It was cute. And she had BoLeo right behind her. He follows her all over the place now. It's funny because he didn't really let her get close to him when she was younger. Now he does. Specially because she shares her food with him. haha! They both explored the room. And of course, Mommy took a load of pictures. I'm actually working on another project. I went to the thrift store and bought a few picture frames and a little shelf. I'm painting them white and will add them to her wall. I hope they come out the way I have them in my mind. I'll keep you posted! The shades of pink look a little different from pic to pic but believe me, it's pink! Right now I'm working on another project. I bought a bunch of picture frames from the thrift store today. I had 2 vintage ones from a while back. I'm painting them all white to put on her wall. I plan to frame patterns into it so it can give some color to her wall. We'll see how it comes out. I also found a cute shelf so I'm painting that as well. They should be done tomorrow. I'll show you the finished result then. =)

Let's hope tomorrow is a better day. Fresh new day.
