Warning: This post will have lots-A pictures so don't say I didn't warn yewwww! LOL ***all pictures (except a few. Some were taken by Stephie) taken with my handy dandy Nikon Coolpix S500 Point & Shoot Camera. I miss my DSLR! Hurry up and get here already, February so I can buy my new DSLR!*** Our trip was great. Trying to pack up, load the car and get out of the house is a whole different story though. That's always the part I never look forward to. We turned the house upside down trying to get out. LOL The house was a mess... We intended to leave early Saturday morning but of course, that didn't happen. We ended up leaving more like around 1pm. Just cause you know, the baby still has her routine and we had to give her a bath, feed her, etc. We didn't let her take a nap so by the time we hit the road, she took a nap but only to wake up in discomfort. Her new toddler car seat is not as comfortable as her older one. It isn't inclined so her little neck kept hanging and she just couldn't get comfortable to fall asleep so she'd cry. We had to make a stop not even 1 hr into our road trip so she could calm down, get some boobie and get comfy. After that, she did better. Thank goodness we stopped to buy her a "Yo Gabba Gabba" DVD before we left because that entertained her A-LOT. We got to AZ around... 6'ish? I forgot. It was so great to see Stephanie and her family again. And to finally meet HER Sophia because last time we had seen each other (9 years ago in Japan), she was pregnant with her Sophia. haha. We had a great time. We didn't do anything but hang around, eat, chit chat, watch our girls play, and watch t.v. That is the best thing, honestly. To just spend quality time together. We fell in love with her house because it's so spacious! And I loved her little chihuahua, Bella! So adorable! I could go on and on about our trip but I don't want to bore you more than I already have. Pictures are always more fun to look at, right? Here are (more than) a few.
Ready to go:
Hubby decides to go to a car wash before we hit the road. Fun... -NOT.
At Stephanie's:

Morning we left:
The day was gorgeous! Look at this beautiful Arizona sky!
Sofia didn't want to leave. She kept walking back to Stephanie's house. hahaha! We were like, "Sofia, it's time to go... come on now..."
We stopped at Las Cruces to eat at Peter Piper Pizza and then went crazy shopping for Sofia at Target. We bought her a cute polka-dot carpet for her room, some cute polka-dot sheets for her toddler bed, a little cute flower tent, some pj's... oh gosh, I already forgot what else we bought her but yeah, we spent a lotta money there. Good thing we don't have a target nearby anymore like we used to in San Antonio. LOL Las Cruces is about 45 minutes from us so in a way, that's a good thing. LOL
Thanks for looking! Hope you had a great weekend yourself. =)
we do have a Target nearby and its a good/bad thing.

Hey - Found you on MBC. Love the pics. What I wouldn't give to be in Arizona right now. And you survived the Yo Gabba Gabbas?? That show makes me wanna throw myself in the lake down the hill from our house. And why do car seats suck so much??
