Day 3/365: El Ritual

Day 3/365

It's a ritual for Sofia and I to take a shower together. We've done it ever since she was oh... about 6 months? I know it's adviced not to do that, but I did anyway. Bad mother? =/ Now that she's older, obviously I don't hold her when we shower. She can sit or stand in the tub with me and she loves it. When she was a baby, we'd take "baths" together. I think it's been great for bonding. All I have to say is "You ready for Splish Splash, Sofia?" and her eyes get big and she squeals! She even starts heading to the bathroom herself. OMG, seriously, she's getting too smart! LOL This picture was actually taken by hubby but directed by me. Hubby is great at taking directions though. This is kind of how the conversation went when this was taken.

[Ana and Sofia in the shower.]
Ana: [yells] Joe! Come here!
Joe: [shows up in the bathroom] What's up.
Ana: Can you take a picture of us with my little point and shoot camera? I want to use it for my project.
Joe: Ok. [brings the camera. Turns it on. We pose, he takes the picture.] Umm... it's coming out yellow.
Ana: [standing behind the curtain with Sofia] Change the white balance setting under menu.
Joe: How do I do that?
Ana [gives him instructions on how]
Joe: [takes a picture] Eww..now it looks too bright.
Ana: Oh, turn the flash off.
Joe: How do you do that.
Ana: [instructs him how]
Joe: oh ok. [takes picture again] Eh... that's as good as it's going to get. [shows the preview to me]
Ana: It looks good. I like it. Thank you! Now here, she's done. Momma needs to dry up.

And that's how this picture happened. LOL
