{ Oh-oh }

The joys of being a mommy. I had to clean and wipe off pewk from Sofia, our couch and MYSELF today! This is the first time she's ever thrown up. I noticed she woke up not herself. Very whiny, moody, unhappy. Just not herself. But I thought, "maybe she's just having one of those toddler days.." LOL When I tried to give her breakfast, she refused it. Even her BANANA! And she never refuses a BANANA. EVER! LOL So I thought that was odd, but ok. There was no other sign of anything that I should be concerned about. I thought maybe she's going through a growth spurt and just isn't hungry. Ya know? Well... after breakfast, she wanted me to hold her, snuggle... so I laid on our couch with her and she was still a bit whiny and fussy... but she fell asleep on me. I fell asleep too. We slept for about an hour together when she wakes up fussy again. I try to comfort her and then out of nowhere she just barfs. I just let her throw up on our blanket. She just threw up white. Like milk? I'm not sure. After that, well it was all over her, a bit on me and well, we both just needed baths. So I gave her a bath and she's ok. She doesn't have a fever... she's not complaining anymore. I gave her some fruit to keep her stomach light. Water. I think I may stop at the store and get her some Pedialyte. She has no other signs of anything so I'm thinking maybe something she ate the night before didn't sink in well? I dunno. I'm keeping an eye on her and if it happens again, I will take her to the doc in the am. We'll see. Ahhh... being a Mommy keeps you on your toes, doesn't it? LOL
