A chicken n' video!

So dinner was a sucess! I made Joe this Honey Glazed Lemon Roasted Chicken for dinner on his Bday. My sister recommended the recipe to me so I thought, "Heck! I can do it!" Heh! I'm so horrible at cooking, I swear. I have been in a cookin' rut. I just don't know what to cook anymore. Anyway... it was hilarious because I had her on video chat and she was watching me do everything. I'd be like, "Like this?" haha! I swear, I can't express enough my happiness over her having her an iMac now! We're on that thing all the time now. haha The chicken came out ok. Everyone liked it except me. I invited family over for dinner too. I mean, I did like it but not as much as I thought I would. My sister says that maybe I didn't put enough salt. It tasted too bland for my taste but I am watching my sodium intake so sometimes I just have to sacrifice. The pineapple upside down cake was the bomb though. *from the box of course! What'd you think? That'd I'd bake it from scratch? ha! I'm not that talented* LOL

When hubby got home from work though, he walked in with a plate with foil on it. I asked nervously, "What do you have there..? It's not cake is it??? Pineapple UPSIDE DOWN CAKE...???" He lifts the foil off and my heart sank. I felt a little sad. It WAS pineapple upside down cake. His office secretary made it for him. I mean, how nice of her but ummm... dang it! I was supposed to make his day with it! haha I keed. I keed. All kidding aside though, he loved dinner. And just for the record? He liked my cake better. Even if it was just from the box. I added extra butter which made it super moist. Take THAT lady! *does karate with her hands* Hummph!

Oh, I 4got to take a pic of the cake. Oh well... next time.
