That's how I would describe this weekend. Now that Sofia is getting older, she needs her "outside" time. She hates being couped up in the house. Don't blame her. If I was a baby with that much energy, I'd hate to be confined indoors. Plus, there's many amazing things to discover outside! On Friday the day was GORGEOUS. It was bright blue skies, sunny and nice fresh air. Not too cold, and not too hot. Perfect weather for the Zoo! So we decided to take Sofia there. OMG... she loved it. That wasn't the first time she went. The first time was to meet KristyK there for my Bday. It wasn't that long ago, in October, but she just showed much more interest this time around. She was just in AWE of all the animals there. Her favorite were the ducks in the pond as you enter the Zoo. *hehe* It's not a very big Zoo but I kind of like it that way. You can easily cover the whole zoo in a good, I don't know... hour? Maybe less. They also have a little playground inside so we let her go and explore. She enjoyed that too.
(OH! And I forgot to mention! Hubby surprised Sofia with a new car seat! Since she's over 20lbs now *finally!* she can turn her car seat around and ride in the big girl car seats now! Awwww... makes me proud but sad. Wahhhh!)

This is my favorite picture from the Zoo:
I told him to see how far he could jump and I took this picture! haha! His legs look all stiff! LOL
On Saturday the weather was just as nice. We had planned to check out the 3 Rivers Petroglyph Site but we woke up late, took our sweet time getting ready and next thing you know, it was too late to take a drive there. The sun would have set by the time we got there. Hubby then decided to surprise us by taking us somewhere just as nice. He took off to the store and came back with food for a picnic. We packed our cooler with food and drinks and chairs and a blanket and took off to watch the sunset at Dog Canyon which is very nearby. It's so beautiful and peaceful there, it's unbelievable. To some it may look like nothing but boring and flat land but OMG... No. It's just so tranquil there. It fills you with an inner piece that's just awesome. And it really is beautiful even though it's winter and a lot of the plant life is dried up. A lot of people like to go to hike there so maybe one of these days if I'm brave enough, we'll go and do that. Sofia loved it. I mean, l-o-v-e-d it. We let her go and explore just making sure to stay close enough to her because there are cacti around. I took a lot of pictures... =)
And then, the icing on the cake? On early Sunday morning I get a text from my Momma asking if we were home because they were just driving through El Paso from Mexico. So they wanted to stop by and see us and rest before they continued on their trip back home to Cali. That just made my day! We got to see her, my stepfather and my little brother again. She bought Sofia some really cute shoes from Mexico. Perfect for walking. I'll have to take a picture of them and share. They're just perfect and PINK! A little big but that's ok. She'll fit in them in no time... I didn't take pictures this 2nd time around but I still have LOADS to share from the 1st time they came. When they were on their way to Mexico.
And then.... as if that wasn't awesome enough... my sister informed me via text that she was officialy the owner of an iMac computer! Yesssssssss! OMG, that made me so excited because that meant that we'd be able to have iChats now! And we could see each other's babies! HEHE! We tried it this morning and OMG. So much freakin' fun! The babies saw each other, said Hi, sent kisses, talked, laughed, threw fits, ate lunch, took a nap... HAHA! OMG, like I told my sis, this could be a good thing, or a BAD thing because we're going to be so much on that thing we're going to be sick of each other! LOL Good thing she works because I'd be bugging her all the time! lol Soon enough she'd going to be hiding from me! [Status: Invible] hahaha! Here's a video I recorded of our iChat. Just so you know in advance, we're BIG GOOFS so laugh at us if you will... lol That's just us. Silly goofy sisters! We make each other laugh so much and so hard we end up in tears...
She has the coolest backgrounds and effects with the new mac. But I don't feel bad. We're getting a new one next month so I'll be able to act goofy like her too! I love you to death, SISTA!

Sister iChat! from Sofia on Vimeo. Oh, and when I say "It's definitely time to put that boy on a diet..." I'm only kidding. Besides, it's true. He is on a diet, right, Karen? But not on a diet really. Just eating healthier. But I was yas' yoking'... [/hidepost]
