Too sweet!

It turned out to be such a beautiful day today. After hubby got home from work, I suggested we go to a nearby park to go get some fresh air and take some pictures. Cause you know me, I loveeeee to take picchhhurrreees! We wanted to go to a really nice park but it was too far away and we were low on gas and payday's not until tomorrow! LOL We went to this park that is "allright". It's nice because it has ducks, swans and geese even! BUT, it's dirty. The lake on one far end was full of trash and junk and crap. There was even a baby walker floating on there. WTH? LOL! People are so careless, I swear. Anyway, we went to the nice, clean end and got up close to the ducks and took pictures. I like to practice, practice so I take pics of random crap. LOL! Silly, right?

Anyway, we didn't stay too long. No, not because of the dirty lake. We left because there were bees stalking me! Yes, you heard right! BEES were stalking ME! I bet they read my blog! Damn, don't you hate stalkers! hahahaha No, but seriously... I am so dead afraid of bees it's not even funny. I've never been stung by one but I was so scared that it'd sting Sofia. I kept running away from them. Joe kept telling me, "Don't run away! They'll sting you if you do... don't move." Helllllll no! Is he crazy? Not move and let it sting me? Pshaaaaaa, c'ya later alligator! I bet I looked funny to people in the park watching us. I bet there were like, "Heh! Look at that crazy lady, running all over the place. Running away from a stinking bee. That scardie cat!" LOL! Those bees bothered me the whole time we were there! I was so paranoid while I took pictures that one would land on me and sting me... I was even ordering Joe to keep and eye on the baby when I was taking shots because I was paranoid that they'd sting her.

[hidepost][/hidepost]Right before we were leaving, Joe, Sofia and I sat on a bench. He was making fun of me running around all over the place away from the bee. I told him, "I didn't want to get stung by the bee!" and just as I said that, a bee lands on Sofia toy on the stroller. I was holding her so no biggie but sheesh! They wouldn't leave us alone! He was like, "Let me take a picture of it!" I handed him the camera and was like, "Here you go, give it your best shot. Show me what you can do!" "Shooooot, I got skills...!", he says. hahahaha! Well, he does. He took this picture of us. And it came out magnificent if I do say so myself! I'm glad I let him play with the camera because I never get pictures of ME with Sofia. I'm always the one taking pictures like crazy so I never get to be in them.

When we drove home, I said to him, "Man, those bees were really after me, huh?! How funny..." And you know what he said?

"Of course they were after you. Cause you're so sweet baby..."

bwahahahaha. Ok, maybe it wasn't like the most romantic line but I'll take it as one! I loved it. I love it when he gets cheesy like that with me.
Maybe the bees were really following me because I had a bright yellow fake flower in my hair! hahahahaha. I took it off towards the end.
Yeap, that had to be it.
Doh!

I took a lot of pictures of birds today so I thought this song would be appropriate! *hehehe*
