[/hidepost]H ope your Easter was great. Our was uneventful. We had no major plans this year and as you may now know, over the weekend our tub got refurbished. YES! It looks AWESOME! I haven't gotten around to taking pictures of it yet. Sofia's kept me pretty busy all day today. We tried to do a little "easter" shoot outside with her but the weather didn't cooperate and her little bunny ears kept falling off. She got fussy. We then decided maybe it'd be a better idea to take pictures of her inside the house but that wasn't such a great idea either. The day was sort of cloudy and not enough light was coming through the windows. Most of the pictures sucked. Sofia started to get fussy so I jumped in the shower with her. She was due for a bath. Also, not such a great idea. She threw a fit in there too. She was screaming her lungs out. Joe took her when I finished washing her down and dried her up and changed her but she wanted Momma. She gave him hell the whole time I was in the shower. Geez.... By the time I finished, got dressed and took over, she was more angry than fussy at that point. There was NO calming her down. It took a long time to make her "get over it" and take a nap. She was just hungry and tired. Gosh, I really don't know how these baby models do it. It's a lot of hard work to photograph a baby! Looks so easy, but it's not! LOL Anyway... that was our easter. All about SOFIA. Next year we'll be at our new base, she'll be older, the weather will be MUCH better (I know this!) and we'll have fun plans for her then. I can't wait to move. Gosh, I'm so excited. Hope everyone had a Happy Easter! Hope you're all back safe at home. God Bless.

Easter Baby!

LauraMelanie: Thank you! I use a Canon 400d (Rebel Xti) I'll try and take pictures of the tub tomorrow. Although the maintenance guy is coming back to spray another layer he said. I should have taken a BEFORE picture but like I said, they showed up without notice and we were scrambling to get out of the house quickly.

ReplyDeleteAna, I just read your response to Lauramelanie about hosing maintenance. Don't you love how they just show up and tell you to get out? Lol! When I lived in Ft. Riley, they had a really bad spider problem [brown recluse *eeek*] and they would have to spray the house almost every month. They would just show up [someone better be home at that!!] and tell us to leave for however long you are supposed to [an hour or two I think it was, so not THAT big a deal, but I can't imagine having little babies or anything]. So we'd leave for a few hours with the animals and come back, lol.

Glad ur back home and ur tub is almost done. Sucks they still need to do one more layer. But just think ur booty will be the first to take a bath in it. Used to gross me out if I thought about the tenants before we moved in! lol

Our Easter was fun...we had a big egg hunt in the front yard ..I think the grown ups had more fun than the kids. I hide those eggs GOOD! Anyway.. the weather was soo nice..It was HOT even.. I loved it. Great picture of Sofia BTW...she looks so darn CUTE.

Sofia looks adorable!!!! Love the picture!! Sounds like she had a tough day. We had a good time at the park with my hubby's familia. Nothing major, just enjoyed the day. I got great pictures!!! :)
