My mission today.
My niece and I are heading to Victoria's Secret in a bit. Gonna hit the malls. Not like I have lots of mula to spend but I can treat myself to smell good! *hehe* Now that I have a baby, I don't have all the time in the world to pamper myself like I used to. Fixing my hair, curling my hair, putting on make-up... that's all a HUGE luxury now! Seriously! Before I got pregnant and had Sofia, when I used to see those Mom's on the street or at the store looking like they jusk woke up, I used to think, "OMG. I'll never be caught DEAD looking like that! Come on now! Couldn't they have put on a little mascara..? OR SOMETHING?" Pffrrtttt! I should have bit my tongue! That's ME now! hahaha. That's what I get for talking smack. I swear, I end up taking a shower around midnight sometimes now. No yok. Today I managed to put Sofia in her exersaucer (bouncer thingy) so she could entertain herself while I took a shower in the morning. I thought, "What the heck! I'll give it a shot". I put her in front of the bathroom door, so I could keep an eye on her and I showered. I was singing the ABC song in the shower to her. LMBO! Hillarious! She would look around like, "I hear you Mommy but I don't see you... [looks both ways, around her all over the place] where are you!?" LOL It was cute. 5 minute showers are my life nowdays. So... since I can't pamper myself like I used to in that way, I'm gonna go buy me some good stuff to smell good. I really love that VS line. Hubby loved it the other we went in there too. *sniff sniff* They have a sale going on right now. 2 for 18 buckaroos so I'm SO THERE! Ta-TA for now...

i believe it dude. My mom always tells me the hardest job she ever had in her life came after she retired and babysat xavier when he was a baby. She was lucky when we were kids, she had my grandma to help her, but she IS the grandma now! lol she says being a mom is the toughest job evah! And here I thought being a spoiled rotten wife was. haha! =)

Yeah...smelling good is pretty important! I love perfume! I really like that beauty rush stuff from VS, and the Pink body mist.

My favorite is Rapture by Victoria's Secret. I get SO many compliments on it everywhere I go esp by men. Refreshing scent.

Laurie: Yeah girl... It'd be so much easier if I had family living near me. I'd be all calling them over, "Hi! Can you come over so I can shower and get purty? Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..?" hahaha Yeap, you don't realize how much hard work it is to be a mommy until you have one of your own. Sure, babies are cute and all but they are not like pets! LOL that's for sure. They literally need you to watch them 24/7 and you can't keep your eyes off them. Specially once they get mobile like my Sofia is starting to get... sheesh!

ReplyDeleteCrystal: I just used a font. I used the "period" key and make it huge and get them close together. So I basicly do this: "........." to fit my border and that's it! LOL
