Reason # gazillionth and one of why I said "I do" almost 10 years ago this May.
[Scene: Ana sitting in rocking chair singing Sofia to sleep and Hubby is in the kitchen making Spaghetti for Dinner. Walks over to Ana, leans over and as Ana rocks forth, hubby kisses her on the lips.]
Hubby: Guess what..?
[kisses Ana on the lips, rocks back]
Ana: What?
[Ana rocks forth again and kisses the lips again]
Hubby: I love you...
Ana: I love you too...
[Ana rocks back forth again]
Hubby: Guess what?
Ana: What?
[Hubby points at Sofia in my arms who's drifting off slowly into a deep sleep]
Hubby: I love her too...
[Ana smiles down at Sofia. Rocks back and forth again and hubby gives another kiss]
Hubby: Guess what?
Ana: What?
Hubby: I'm off tomorrow.
Yayyyyyyy... he knows how to make my day! We get to sleep in together! Well, sorta. Sofia wakes me up early but he gets to! A 3 day weekend for us! Woootwooot! That means I have 3 days of him to help me with the baby all day. *hehehehe*
Sofia's doing better. She actually did GREAT at her appt. Of course, cried her eyes out after the shots. It was so heartbreaking. She smiled up at the guy when I laid her down on the table for him to give her the shots. She had no clue what was coming. BIG ol' smile on her face. Then a few seconds later, she let out the most heart wrenching cry. It broke my heart. I massaged her little shot areas right afterwards because someone told me it helps avoid soreness. It worked like a charm! I did give her tylenol about 30 minutes before the shots so... she handled it like a trooper! This morning however, she was a little more fussy than usual. She got a mild temperature but I gave her tylenol again and she did fine for the next few hours. She was not completely herself though. Not cranky but not her happy self today. I hope she wakes up better in the morning.
On other news...Guess what? I have some EXCITING news that I want to share with you guys but I can't say anything till a few more weeks from now! (Hubby says) AUGH, it's so HARD not to say anything but I will in due time. I'm SO excited but for personal reasons I can't share just yet. *sigh* This bites. LOL BTW, don't bother asking any questions about it or trying to dig any info cause I won't budge. It's just eating me up inside! LOL
Ooh snap, a juicy secret that's eating you up inside?!? I can't wait to hear! lol
