Exciting news.

[hidepost][/hidepost]S ofia and I will be out of town for the next week (maybe two) did I mention that already? LOL Oops! I don't think so. LOL We're going back to Waco to keep my niece some company because her parents are out of town. She doesn't want to be home alone. *hehe* I know the feeling. So we leave tomorrow. I gotta re-pack for Sofia and myself. Oh joy! The most fun part! ...NOT! I hate packing and traveling. But once I'm at my destination I get over it. Speaking of traveling and destinations... Did I also already mention that Sofia and I are going to California in April? LOL No? Damn, I'm slacking... Well yeapers! It's official. We are. Got plane tickets and everything. Now I gotta prepare for flying with a baby for the first time ever. Oooh, how exciting... =/

My bff from Cali is coming to visit here in late March and when she goes back, Sofia and I will fly with her to Cali. We planned it this way so I could have someone help me travel with the baby. It'll be nice to have that extra set of arms when needed! lol We'll be there a couple of weeks and then 3 or 4 days before we come back, the hubby will fly in and we will all fly back to San Antonio (home) together. Yayyy! I can't wait! I can't wait to see family. I can't wait for family to meet her! My sister in law is throwing Sofia a "Welcoming Baby" party. I'm not sure what that means but if I remember correctly from what she said it will be a party where Sofia is introduced for the first time to all our family members (both hubby's and mine) for the first time. OMG! It's gonna be so exciting! I just can't wait! Doesn't that sound exciting!? Before they meet her, we plan to play a movie I recorded with all my pictures and videos of ultrasounds, belly shots, hospital pics, videos of her birth, etc. THEN we'll bring her out and they get to meet her. LOL! We're so cheesy but yeah, it should be awesome. *hehe*

[hidepost][/hidepost]Sofia did much better today. She wasn't as fussy as she was the past 2 days. So that was a relief! We had a much smoother day. Did I tell you guys she started on baby cereal last week? I think I forgot to talk about that. Well she did... and at first she hated it. She'd spit everything out. She didn't know what to do with it, I think! She'd just push it all out. I mean, all she's ever tasted since she was born is formula and "mommy milk". So imagine the shock to her! Today for the first time, she opened her mouth for it and ate it! All of it! I started with a very small amount and now she eats a good portion. Enough to fill her up. I am so proud of her! I almost cried when she finished her bowl of cereal! hahaha! Yeah, I'm one of those Moms! Such a geek! Here's a video of her eating cereal and another of her trying to roll over a few weeks ago. She still hasn't gotten it down. The video of her eating was taken early last week when she wasn't too fond of it. It took her about 6 days to finally like it. The other video was taken in Waco when we were there a few weeks ago. Enjoy..! Sorry if I bore you death with my baby talk but I am a mommy now so if you don't want to read about baby stuff, sorry... that's my life now. All baby! LOL
