Where ya been?

I know... I know... I'm horrible at this blogging thing now days. I remember how back in the days I used to blog almost every day. Now I'm lucky if I get an entry written once a month! What's with me?! Must snap out of it because I love writing. I have so many nice memories written in my blog. It's a shame that I don't write and share more moments/memories here. *sigh* I'm not even going to say I'm going to try because then I feel a bit of an obligation and then that just gives me writer's block. So we'll just take it as it comes...

Let's see... I will sum everything new going on in a list. Maybe some pictures even! =)

Last time I wrote was for New Year's.

I finally got the camera my friend lent me in the mail! So I have taken some pictures. However, I've lacked inspiration so I haven't taken much. Here's a few pics though.

I'm really excited because my husband got his W2 forms already and you know what what means.... NEW CAMERA! wooohoo! I'm so excited! Soon I'll have my hands on a new camera. Yay. And hopefully I can get some new gigs after wards. We'll see...

Oh! I dyed my hair black! Wanna see??

I really like it. I love change so this is nice and refreshing for me. We'll see how long this last before I decide to go RED or something. LOL See? I'm already thinking of a new hair color in the future... haha!

Medical wise: hmmm... well... I finally got approval to see a Cardiologist. I had a Heart Echo done last week and of course, I had to get it on tape. My hubby came along and I had him record some of the echo. Which was nice actually because I wasn't able to see the monitor at all during the procedure so it was nice to be able to look back at this later. When I saw it I was amazed. It's awesome to see my ticker. The valves... crazy! Wanna see???

I am wearing an event monitor for 30 days too. I've worn it now for about 2 weeks. Pain in the rear when it comes to actually "wearing" it during the day... I've accidentally activated it a few times. Sofia once with her head. LOL So far I've had one event where I felt like I was having a heart attack again. I'm not sure what the heck it is... I'm starting to think it's Panic Attacks because obviously they're not heart attacks. Otherwise I wouldn't BE HERE! But they sure aren't fun and feel like it. *sigh*
I also have a stress test in a week. I have to walk on a treadmill and they're going to monitor my heart activity. And after that, I'll go to a follow up appointment with my doc to review the results of all these tests done. Sheesh! I get tired just writing about it. So hectic! But I hope I finally get some answers.

And in the "babymaking" department... I finally was able to see a "civilian" Gynecologist and my GOODNESS! Someone tell me why I didn't do that before? The military spoils us... they have us in this little bubble where they provide almost everything for us so I was a little hesitant to go with a "non-military" doctor. But boy... was I wrong to never want to go with a civilian doctor. I was amazed at their knowledge and the way they treat you. I'm not bashing the military docs... or maybe I already have? LOL But seriously.. I'm so freaking impressed with the doc I have now that I want to stay with him. He is going to help regulate my period. He was shocked to learn how my regular doc hasn't done this for me already. I know.. me too! HELLO?! lol He sent me for a pelvic ultrasound and gave me some provera to induce my period because I should be getting my period at least every few months. Otherwise the lining in my uterus thickens and puts me at higher risk for uterine cancer. YIKES! So yeah... and he's also prescribed me "Metformin" to try to regulate the insulin in my body to help me ovulate on my own too. And he gave me some "Clomid" as well. Clomid is a fertility drug. I'm not getting my hopes up but we'll take it one day at a time. I wouldn't be taking the Clomid very long anyway. Hubby's getting deployed in a few months for 6 months and well... obviously I wouldn't need it. But we can try in the meantime. I'll keep you posted... So that's where I stand with THAT.

What else is new? Oh! I started doing Yoga! I do it daily for 30 minutes. At least for now I do since I'm a beginner and all. I do the "Namaste Yoga" DVD's. You know, the ones that come on FitTV? I have Season 1 and Season 2 on DVD.

I love them! They are sooooo relaxing and they are easy to follow and get into. I've been doing it for a good 2 weeks and I can already tell how my flexibility and balance is improving. L-O-V-E it! Sofia even grabs a mat and tries to do them with me every now and then when she feels like it. *giggles*

Ok. I'll stop here now. Otherwise I'll put you all to sleep! HAHA!

  1. Yay for W2s. I got mine in the mail yesterday. I think I'm just going to get certified in scuba diving, buy a couple of things then pay bills...

What kind of camera are you going to get?

    Your hair looks great :)

I hope with all these tests, they can determine what you have rather quickly and that it's nothing serious.

    Good luck w/the baby making!

Do you send your hubby baked goods when he's deployed? My bf is working overseas for 6 months (he's an army contractor) so I'm always looking for ideas on what to send him.

  4. Cecilia: I'm not sure yet... I really want the Nikon d700 but still not sure if we'll be able to afford that. The first thing we want to do is get me new glasses because I'm EXTREMELY overdue. I need a new prescription and new frames. THEN we'll look into the camera. =) This is the second time he's gotten deployed. I forgot what I sent him the first time. LOL Candy I'm sure. We'll have to exchange ideas for sure. =)
