Happy New Year!

Hope everyone had a lovely New Years Eve and that 2011 has started on a good note. New Year's Eve started great but ended on a sour note for me. That's all I will say but I realized that I have the power to let people affect me or not and I decided that I need to be positive so... I'm being POSITIVE! I'm going to try to anyway. We lit up fireworks and had some delicious food. New Year's Day we had a big dinner with the family here. I made some fresh "Ponche" again and my family members who hadn't had it before loved it. I was proud of myself again. *hehe*

Did you make any new year's resolutions? I have a few but I like to see them more as goals. Goals that I'd like to accomplish. And if I get to accomplish them by the end of this new year, then that's awesome, if not, there's always next year, right? LOL

This year I want to:

• Finish reading this book called "Desire of the Ages" because I started to last year and I never finished it. I'm not proud to say I never got past the first chapter. This year, I want to finish for sure. Yes! Oh, and I just learned that you can read it online! So... no excuse! I want to read it so bad...


• Sew some nice stuff with my sewing machine!


• Eat heathier and lose weight. (don't we all? *sigh*)


• Make some new friends!


• Get pregnant? LOL Hopefully!

Not bad right? They are stuff I can accomplish if I work hard at it. Well... maybe except the getting pregnant one because that, I have no control over. Being infertile, I can't do much about that... but I can bug the heck out of my doctors to get treatments again. LOL We'll see... we'll see how all that goes. Wish me luck!

Today we sent to Cloudcroft, NM to play in the snow. It was a lot of fun! I am working on editing pictures but here's one to share in the meantime...
