Things that made me smile today.

Things have been a little icky around here lately. We've been stressing about our heater that's not working. The weather has gotten a LOT cooler now and we wake up freezing! I dread getting out of bed because it's like we get slapped in the face with the coldness! Eeek! So we're in the process of getting the heater fixed. It's been a crazy process but at least it'll be working soon. Eventually.

On some good notes! A list of things that made me smile today:

• Talking to my sister on iChat today.


• Having my hubby home from work early


• Getting some yard work done. (leaf raking! AUGH!)


• Successfully making some Caldo de Res (Beef Stew!) My 1st time ever and it came out DELICIOUS! At least, I thought so! And hubby had seconds.


• Sofia asking to watch "Jem & The Holograms" on tv. She asked for "JemGurls, Mom!" My daughter is soooo cool! LOL Love her!

And last but not least...
Buying a NEW DOMAIN! Can you guess the new name? It's on the new header. The domain is bought already. I'm just in the process of moving on over... so I'll be blogging here in the meantime... but get used to that. No more Mamirosa. I'm ready for change. Love change. And with that, I say GOODNIGHT! I'm beat!
