Special Day.

MeToday is our 10 year wedding anniversary. Ten years ago today, we exchanged rings and said, "I do." It seriously doesn't feel like 10 years have passed by since that happened. I remember it so clear. Like it was just yesterday. When we got married, I was 20 years old and he was 21. We were such youngins! Even though I didn't see it that way at the time, we were just "esquincles". Joe was just a basic airman. One stripe only. *tehehe* But I didn't care. I still don't care what rank he is in the military. I'm proud of what he does and how far he's gotten. We've both grown so much. We know each other so well. We learned that we're both not perfect and that we come with flaws. For example, I hate to fold socks after they come out the dryer so he folds them for me. When the dishes are sitting in the sink because I just haven't gotten around to them, he gets it done without ever complaining. I know he likes to keep his shoes at the edge of the bed (for easy access in the morning he says) [which drives me BONKERS] but it's ok. I love him even when he has a flight line of shoes on his side of the bed.

[hidepost]Me[/hidepost]Our marriage has gotten so much stronger. We've both grown up together so much. Our marriage went through a crisis a couple of years ago and know what? I'm kind of glad that happened because it made our relationship stronger. Nobody's perfect. Marriages AREN'T perfect. Who ever says they are, pffffrrrttt...whatev! You work hard at it. There are days when you sometimes want to throw a shoe at their head but there are more good days than bad days in my marriage. I'm blessed. I'm sooooooo glad we actually didn't have a child when we wanted to because although we didn't realize or understand it at the time, we just weren't ready. We had so much to go through still to build an even stronger and solid foundation in our marriage. Even though it killed me not being able to get pregnant, I know GOD had a plan for us all. And his plan for me was to grow older, wiser and more in love with my husband before he blessed me with a child. I get it now. I totally do. This is totally the best present ever for our anniversary. Celebrating our 10 years with our little angel. What more could I ask for? Nothing. I'm set for life.

Te Amo, Bebe.

We went to Austin, TX last night to have dinner at this place called, "Fogo de Chao". Hubby wanted to take me there because he said the food was delicious. Oh, it was! Delicious and EXPENSIVE! Let's just say, that's the most expensive place we've been to eat in the whole 10 years we've been married! LOL
Here are a few pics:
