Gorgeous.

MeT hat's what the weather was like today. It was sunny... hot but not TOO hot and there was a nice little breeze. After I let the dogs out this morning, I stared out at them through the kitchen window and realized what a wonderful day it was. Perfect for line drying my clothes. I had lots of Sofia's clothes to wash! That girl goes through clothes like crazy! Only thing was, I didn't have any clothing pins to use so I drove to the dollar store to buy me some. They only had wooden clips but I bought them anyway. There were cute!

I'm really getting into this whole "Green" thing. I am LOVING my new read. I felt so good to line dry my clothes. I think people should try to do that every once in a while and save energy. I will try to do it as much as I can when the weather permits. If not, into the dryer it goes. Speaking of "laundry" and "green", we've switched to the Seventh Generation Laundry Detergent. You should try it too next time you have to buy laundry detergent. They sell it at Target and Walgreens. I'm really excited about their baby products. I'll definitely try to make the switch if Sofia doesn't have some bad reaction. *thumbs up* LOL I'm such a "green nerdy chic"! =P Anyway... I hope the weather stays like this...

  1. I'm glad you got the clothespins, I love those. They are oldschool and remind me of when my grandmother used to dry her clothes on the line. Secondly I love Method products from Target, they are my uber fave!

  3. I used to line dry my clothes, exclusively (as in I didn't have a dryer to use). Now a days the family allergies are so bad that I can't line dry any of our clothes. I choose to be green other ways, though.

I love the pic of Sofia's pretty pink clothing hanging on the line.

    You are truly blessed.

  4. Now, if only people would stop purchasing those 100 ton gas-guzzler vehicles, that would really make a difference! :-)

"Comment Love" never seems to find me, so here is my latest blog post:

  7. You should be careful of Seventh Generation products because there was a study recently that shows there are carcinogins in some of their products. I have a huge bottle of dish washing detergent and its in that :
I think its called tetra.. something.

  8. I remember my ma used to line-dry clothes, and I loved to run through them and she would always yell at me.

My clothes would never dry outside with this humid weather! That detergent sounds cool.
