[hidepost]So hubby found out yesterday that he's getting deployed. Talk about short notice! No, not to IRAQ. Thank the LORD. I'm sure his time will come though. He'll only be gone a week but I don't want to be here by myself. I like company! I hate to be alone that long! So I'm heading to WACO. Yayyy! He'll be back on Sunday (Mother's Day, AWWW!) and we'll probably come back later that day. Not sure yet. We'll play it by ear. I'm packing right now and so is he. Poor guy. He has all his green duffel bags packed with all his military training stuff. Makes me sad... =( It'll be ok though. It relieves me to know he's not going to Iraq and will be here in the States.
I wish I could take my computer with me! I can't pick up a connection from the room we stay in at their house. Wish I had an air card! Anyway... I'm sooooo freakin' excited because since my Hubby won't be here for Mother's Day, he let me pick my own Mother's Day Gift. I thought long and hard. I decided on a pink digital Camcorder I'd had my eye on for a LONG time but I thought it was too pricey. Now the price has dropped. We don't have one and I wanted a cute simple one. Now I can take more videos of Sofia! And better quality, I hope! I can also use it as a voice recorder. I'm gonna love that feature because I want to be able to record her babbling and stuff. Yayyyy! What do you think? Cute?

Don't forget about Mother's Day! I went out yesterday and bought greeting cards for my ladies. I have 3 to give out now every year. My Mom, Mother in Law and my sister. I love shopping for cards. The hardest part is picking the right one!
I'll pop in sometime while I'm Waco so don't worry. I'll still be around and twittering. Gotta finish packing. We're meeting my brother in law half the way in Austin. OMG, first time I've been in Austin. LOL We always just drive through. Once we meet there, we'll transfer and load our stuff onto my brother in law's vehicle and finish the trip to Waco. This way it's not too long of a trip for Hubby. He's got a million other things to do still before he flies out tomorrow morning...

ReplyDeleteI have a digital camcorder but the only downfall I HATE its that it does not have a built in light...I cant record indoors!! I hate that so much and I dont know if its my camera in particular that does this but no matter how much light I try to add its just doesnt works... only outdoors. I think I have used it once... its sitting on my dresser... good thing It was gift and I didnt buy it or else I would of been po'd... Let me know if yours works if so I getting one! Have fun in WACO! ( I always laugh when I see that name ...lol) oh and about the breastmilk... do you have a pump?...you can acually increase your supply by pumping in between feedings. Anyway...ya me voy...Its almost 1am!
