I have a dentist appointment. Don't even ask me how long it's been since I've been to one. Srsly. No, really, don't ask! LOL I know I should be ashamed. I am. But I just have these fear of dentists. Dentists and Optometrists. I have a fear that they're going to tell me they need to pull out my teeth of that I'm going blind. For real! I don't know why! But I do! Last time I went to the dentist they recommended I get braces. Ummm... excuse me? Have you seen my teeth? How straight they are? Braces?! Really? Me??? LOL Apparently, the teeth in my back are growing sideways? So "supposedly" (he doesn't know what he's talking about! haha) with the years, they'll push my teeth and they'll get crooked? Augh. All kidding aside, if I had the $ I'd get them. But since I don't, it'll have to wait. We'll see what this dentist tells me. The one that recommended braces was my dentist from San Antonio. So we'll see... with me luck! *cringe*
The dentist isn't so bad. I go every six months. The better you take care of your teeth now, the more teeth you'll have when you are an abuelita. :)

Teresa: I agree, it isn't so bad... *when you don't have a fear of DENTISTS! LOL* I know it's not that big of a deal, I just get really nervous that's all... I'm scared of doctors to begin with and I've gotten a lot better. I had to get over my fear when I wanted to get pregnant through fertility treatments. It was dreadful for me but I knew that the blessing in the end would be worth it. And it was. But I don't know what it is... Actually I do know what it is come to think of it. I just realized this! OMG! LOL It's a little too long to explain now but I will. I have a very good reason for having a fear of ANY doctor really...

I am scared of dentists too. I hate the drilling noise and I just dont kn0w why they cause me to panic but they do.
ReplyDeleteDon't feel bad! I haven't gone to the dentist in awhile either. Also, due to the fact that my regular dentist is 45 min away by my mom's house definitely has something to do with it.
