Moving on...


It's finally Friday! YES! Hopefully I get to sleep this weekend. LOL Hey, doesn't hurt to wish right? Update on Sofia's potty training... she has her days. Yesterday she actually came up to me WITH her diaper on and told me she had to go to the bathroom. As soon as she sat down, she went. I was so proud of her! Today? She wasn't in the mood to use her potty. But that's ok. It hasn't even been a week yet and she's not even two so we're taking it day by day. Good thing is that I stay home with her and can work on it, you know? That's what I try to look at it. I am trying to look at the positive side of things.



Here's a video of her learning how to count with me. She actually pretty much knows how to count from 1 to 5. My little genius! LOL


What about my dentist? Would you believe it went GREAT!? Yah, I know! What? Yes, it went wonderfully! My Dentist turned out to be this sweet ol' man and the whole office was very warm and made me feel comfortable. I thought he was going to rip me a new one because I haven't been to the dentist in forever but he was SOOO SOOO nice, I actually wanted to hug him before I left! LOL Turns out I don't need braces. He didn't even mention it! I do need to get 3 fillings. Pooey. They offered me the silver or white fillings so I'm going with the white. A little more pricey but they are close to the front teeth so I want it to look as natural as possible. Wouldn't you? Another thing they'll be working on is my front teeth. I grind my teeth at night so they are starting to wear down/chip in the front. NOT pretty. So they're working on that in the next few weeks. That means though that I'll have to get a night guard for my teeth. YUCK! Oh well... the grinding my teeth at night in my sleep is something I can't control so a night guard it is! Any of you do that or know anybody who does? My hubby does too. Dentist said it's due to stress? Ay yayy yayy.... Anyway... so that was that. I'm relieved it went well and that my teeth will get taken care of. We will have to pinch pennies AGAIN but my teeth are worth it, no? =D

    ooh I wear a night guard because I grind my teeth at night too :P it only takes a few days to get used to it, you will feel the difference sleeping with the guard and without, it really makes a BIG difference in your sleep and rest believe me! Don't stop using it and then try to use it again because your teeth would move :S that happened to me and now I have 2 cracks in my 2 front teeth :(

    I feel the same way about dentist I force myself to go see one just cause I gotta keep my teeth looking good ,lol. Sofia is so so so smart and so adorable

    I'm so glad the dental went well. I too hate going. #1 reason is my mom is a Dental Tech and made me go every 6 months for a ck up!! Sophia and I have the worse teeth. We can clean/floss like made and we end up with the cavities! I kid you not! Monique and daddy could go a month without brushing and NO cavaties! Go figure!

    the stage show of Grease was pretty good but different from the movie a little and had some different songs but all in all it was good we had a great time

    Sounds like your dental visit went well, happy to hear it!! :) I got one small white filling, replaced, and it took a good two months for the sensitivity to go away...ouch!! Hope you don't experience the same problem amiga!!
