Rain rain... go away!

It was a rainy day in Alamogordo on Tuesday. Kind of shocking because we have beautiful weather ALL the time! And we had wanted to go to the base pool. Obviously that didn't happen. We stayed home all day. I did some well needed cleaning and some organizing. I also took the time to take pictures of some of Sofia's old stuff she doesn't use anymore like her diaper changing table, baby tub and bassinet to put up for sale online. I'm hoping we have some buyers. I know I'll be sad to let them go, I felt kind of sad just taking pictures of them! Sofia was playing with her little bassinet. It was so cute. I got a flashback of when my belly was HUGE and I was anxiously waiting for her arrival! And here she is now... bouncing off walls and talking up a storm! LOL Amazing... Know what's even more amazing to me? That she's trying to talk already! And that she's learned words and their meaning... Check out in these videos how much her vocabulary has increased! =)

ps. Before I forget, I have to explain that Sofia knows the meaning of the word "yes" but she doesn't say "yes". Instead she says "Right". Like Dora the Explorer. On the show she always asks questions so it encourages kids to talk and then she says "RIGHT!" well, Sofia uses that as "YES". Go figure. It's pretty cute though! I'm enjoying it because soon enough, she'll start saying "YES" and forget about "RIGHT." Oh, and yes, she says "No." -a lot! =/
