Beauty talk.

I feel pretty..! Oh so pretty..! haha! Heh. No, I'm not. I feel FAR from that lately. I need to go back to pampering myself. Now that I have a baby, I've kind of put myself in the back burner ya know? I mean, it's only normal. I'm a mommy now, ya know? But I do have to take time for me and I try to. I really do. It's just very hard to these days. Funny, now when we go decide to go out, Joe will be like, "How long will it take you to get ready?" I'll say, "Oh, not long. 10-15 minutes? Not long at all. All I gotta do is shower, blow dry my hair and slap on some mascara." LOL! OMG... back in my pre-baby days the getting ready process was more like an HOUR to two! LOL I used to curl it and do my whole make up routine. Pfrrrttt! Yeah, not no more. HAHA! But I still manage sometimes. *sometimes* I really need to buy new makeup though. I hardly use much makeup really. I just like to collect it. That's bad I know. I use Bare Minerals for my face but I hardly ever use it! I think my kit is over a year old now. And it's still full! GAH! hahaha Joe doesn't like it when I wear it. He says I look better without it but sometimes it's just the fact that I actually took time to put on makeup that makes me feel better so I use it anyway. haha! My nice in Waco works for a beauty Salon in Waco and she gets a good discount on products so she's always asking me, "Tia, you need something? Just let me know and I'll order it for you." She's so sweet... I gotta call her and make some orders. Anyway... I stole this survey from Miss Laurie. HAIR:

What Shampoo brand do you use?
I use Thickr shampoo and Conditioner by RUSK. See after I had the baby, my hair's been falling out like crazy so I use this to thicken it up. Oh! And the bottle's pretty cute. Looks cute and pink in my shower. hahaha

What Conditioner do you use?
Doh! I got a little ahead of myself. Read the above answer.

Do you use a flat-iron daily?
Nope. Don't own one but I'd love to own one one day. I have flat hair but I'd like to see it really slick and soft like they show on tv.

What styling products do you use?
Oh dear... not a whole lot really. I use a leave in conditioner by Rusk too. It's called "Healthy" It smells good too!

Do you prefer your hair to be up or down?
Down.

Is your hair long or short?
Halfers! lol Midlength.

Do you dye your hair?
YES! Too much I think. I need to dye it again. Dark again. I no likey how it came out this last time I did it. LOL

Do you use the same color, or do you experiment with other colors all the time?
I love the RED brick color. I haven't dyed it that color in a long time but that's about it. I don't think I could ever go blond! LOL

FACE:

Do you wear make-up?
Sometimes. Most of time, NO. Just eyeliner, mascara and lipgloss... I have a mild case of rosasia so I have natural red cheeks. UNLESS I cover up with Foundation all over, then yes, I have to put blush on. =/

What brand of foundation do you wear?
Bare Escentuals/Bare Minerals

What brand of Mascara?
I use the good ol' school Maybelline brand. I like "Lash Stylist". Heaven sent! I am faithful to it. No need to spend 20 something bucks on a mascara, shoot! Maybelline works just as good! *wink*

Do you wear eyeshadow?
Yeap.

What brand?
I wear different ones all the time. Nothing pricey. I have a few M.A.C. ones. Some Revlon, L'oreal, and some that came with a J'lo perfume kit I bought a long time ago! LOL

What color blush do you wear?
I normally use my bare minerals/escentuals all over face color as blush. (me too!) or a REVLON brand I have. I forgot the color but it's a peachy tone.

Lip stick or lip gloss?
GLOSS all the way. Looks more natural.

If the answer is gloss, what flavor?
I don't really buy flavored ones. I usually buy those that feel minty on your lips? That tingle and just have a light tint. I like natural looking makeup.

What kind of cleanser do you use?
Some stuff I bought at ULTA. I forgot the brand sorry... I usually wash my makeup off in the shower. I'm bad about that too but eh! I sleep in makeup when I do wear it. I'm too lazy to take it off. I've done it for years. So has my mother and she has GORGEOUS skin. it's all in the genes I believe.

Do you use the Biore pore strips?
uhhhhhhh...no.

NAILS:

Are your nails natural or fake?
Natural of course!

Long or short?
VERY short. I have to keep them that way. I have a baby. I have forgotten to keep up with them once or twice and I've scratched her in the legs and face. I feel so horrible! When that happens, I literally lay her down and cut them right then and THERE! I don't want to hurt my baby! LOL

What color do you normally paint your nails?
I usually don't. If I do, I use a natural color. Like those they use for the "French Manicure".

Do you get manicures often?
Nope.

What about pedicures?
I do my own pedicures. I refuse to go and dip my feet into a tub that other people have dipped their PATAS (feet) into. Oh yeah... I've heard some nasty stories. Sorry NOPE! LOL

Do you paint your toenails?
Sometimes.

Natural or DARK (if my nails are dark too)



CLOTHES:

What is your normal style?
Very casual. I loveeeeee jeans! And lazy clothes! Like the "PINK" brand from Victoria's Secret. That's totally my style. LOL If I could live in my PJ's (which I pretty much do) I would!

What is your favorite brand of clothes?
I don't have one really. I'm neutral to everything.

Where do you normally shop for clothes?
No where specifically. I can go shop at Walmart, Target, and stores at the mall. I'm not picky. Really. If it fits and looks good, I don't care about the brand.

Do you like to dress up, or are you more casual?
Extremely CASUAL.

Do you wear a belt with all of your pants?
eww? LOL

Do you like flared leg pants?
Bootcut all the way. My favs.

Do you wear shorts in the summer?
OMG... NO!!!! haha I have a complex with my legs. I think they're skinny! Hubby says no but he's supposed to say that! LOL I'll wear them once in a blue moon but don't hold your breath! LOL

How about tank tops?
I love tank tops. Yes!

How many pairs of jeans do you own?
A bunch BUT I live in the same ones for some reason? LOL I need to get more. I really don't have enough. I don't fit in the ones I used to before I got pregnant and those are OLD. So yeah, time for new wardrobe!

SHOES:

How many pairs of shoes do you have?
Not a lot. Just enough. I like to keep the ones I wear all the time. If I don't wear them often, I give them away to charity. Seriously, why have so many shoes when you only wear a few? *shruggs shoulders* That's just me. I'm low maintenance.

Would you wear a pair of shoes that hurt your feet because they are too cute not to wear?
HELL NO. I like comfort. I laugh at girls who walk funny cause their shoes are uncomforable. Can you say, "Bunions" lol!

Are you a flip-flop lover?
Not reallyyyyyyyyy....

Not really...

What is your favorite accessory?
Necklace and earrings for sure. Although I really just wear the same ones over and over again. See? Very low maintance! LOL

Do you have a lot of jewelry?
Nah... not really.

How many pairs of sunglasses do you own?
Pfrrrttt! 2. My 24/7 prescription glasses and my prescription sunglasses. BLAH. I want new ones.

Don’t you just love the big sunglasses?
I do!!!! But I can't wear them. Lazik Eye surgery is what I need! Military does it! I need to get on the waiting list!

Do you wear earrings daily?
Yes... tiny little ones though. I need some pearls.

What about necklaces?
Not really. I only wear one that my hubby gave me a long time ago. A heart diamond necklace. That's it. I love it. I wear it everyday.

Rings?
My wedding rings.

Bracelets?
Nah... not into those much. They're dressy! LOL

How many watches do you own?
Uhhh... one! LOL And I never wear it. I use my cell or itouch to check the time! haha

no.

How many purses handbags do you have?
Too many but only 2 coach bags. That's it. The rest are just bags I've bought at stores. Nothing fancy shmancy!

Do you switch purses handbags often?
Ummmm.... I guess? Sometimes. It depends on my mood too.

Does your wallet have to match your purses handbag?
It doesn't have to but it's nice when it does. Who careeeeeees? LOL If you're into that thing, cool. =)

Are your purses handbags the huge ones, or are they smaller?
I have from small to midsize. More midsize bags though, for sure.
