White Sands...

When I was young, I had never heard of "White Sands". I didn't know such a place existed! I remember when I watched this video on tv, I thought, "How in the heck are these guys not freezing their butts off in all that snow?" LOL I seriously didn't know that it was SAND - not SNOW. Not until YEARS YEARS YEARS later, when we came through New Mexico did I discover this place. I realized this was where they filmed the video and then I did some research to confirm it. Who would have THUNK that when I watched that video the first time, I'd be living very close to it and doing photo shoots for clients there. This video is so beautiful... and not to mention the song! I wore out this song like you wouldn't believe! It still has special meaning to me to this day. Anyway... I came across the video today and I wanted to share the thoughts that came to me when I watched it all over again. Enjoy. =)

Isn't this place AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL? I'm lucky I have it about 15-20 minutes away and I can go whenever I please. *sigh* I've yet to go on a full moon stroll at night. I've heard it's beautiful...
