This is what happens when...

you get distracted on FB & Twitter... ONLINE, period! Today she's been all "Dora the Explorer" on me. Exploring my drawers, makeup, etc. She even found my "love coupons" that I had hidden wayyyyyyyy back in my drawer. LOL If it's at her level, you can be 100% sure she's going to get her little toddler hands on it! LOL She came up to me on the computer, I turned around and I literally lost my breath. She scared me! LOL Then when I took it in, I just died laughing! And she was shocked to see me laughing so hard so she laughed too and then I grabbed a hand held mirror so she could look at herself and we both laughed. LOL I just couldn't help it. It was sooooo funny! These are the moments I'll remember 15 years from now when she's all growed up. *sigh* I think she was trying to pull a "Frida Kahlo" ;) Or... "Maybe it's Maybelline..." What do you think? LOL

  1. Ha ha ha - oh my goodness! That's too funny! I remember when my daughter was younger - she was about 2 and I was busy cleaning - I had been vacuuming the stairs. I reached the top of the stairs, slowly came back down and realized I couldn't hear her so I started searching for her. Finally when I called her name (after like a minute) she came in holding her cat (cracker jack) and I just died laughing - they were both covered in make up. I was like oh my! She told me she made both cracker and her look pretty like me. I just laughed and cleaned her and cracker jack up. Of course I made sure cracker was okay and made sure he wasn't trametized but they were even closer friends after that makeup mishap. Kids are just tooooo cute sometimes! :)

  2. HAHAHA! Stef, that IS funny! Kids really do the funniest things. Sometimes I wish I had a recorder on me at all times so I can't miss a thing and be able to look at it back later. That is a great thing about blogging. You can write it down and laugh at it later. =D

  3. Love it! I remember playing with my mom's makeup. My toddler has started trying to do this, her favorite is nail polish, she calls it "pretty girl". You and your daughter have good taste on mascara! I love that one too!

  4. Thank you, Marcela! I remember doing the same thing with my Mom's makeup too when I was little when she'd take off to the store. Then when I heard her coming home, I'd run into the bathroom to use her "Pond's" creme to wash it off quickly! LOL I always thought I was so slick but she ALWAYS could tell when I was playing with her stuff. HAHAThank you... I was feeling a little cheapie on the mascara this last time but my favorite is "Stilletto" mascara. Forgot what brand makes it. But that's my favorite. =)

  5. That's absolutely adorable. That's like my oldest daughter. I was cleaning the house and was vacuuming the stairs. I slowly made my way up and on the way back down I realized I couldn't hear her anymore. I called her a few times, looked for her and she finally walked into the dining room holding her cat (cracker jack) and they were covered with make up. I was surprised that cracker had it on his eyelids...I wasn't even aware cats had eyelids. I made sure that the cat hadn't been trametized but it was just so funny I couldn't stop laughing. I thought this was so sweet. It's adorable what little girls will do with their mommy's make up. I used to do this with my mother's make up when I was younger...but actually, I did it to my little brother. Ha ha. What kids will do ! :)
