First off, what do you guys think of the new look? I LOVED LOVED LOVED my last theme but it just got old for me. It felt a little too "busy" for me. Too much going on... it made me feel a bit antsy! I wanted to have a theme that when I loaded it on my screen I would go "ahhhh... so fresh and so clean - CLEAN!" lol I may personalize it just a little bit. Like the logo, but that's about it. Simple is what I'm going for. Anyway... I hope you like it because I do!
I know I haven't blogged in forever..! I guess I just lost inspiration. And the theme didn't help. LOL I needed change. I LOVE change. It's good for the soul so I feel very inspired and refreshed now. Let's see... what is new on our end? Wow... well... I forgot when the last time I blogged was... but anyway... Sofia's a little over 2 1/2 years old now. Yup! Can u believe it? She'll be 3 in October! We're already trying to come up with ideas for her Birthday bash! It's really exciting! She talks NON-STOP. Like... a lot! She's potty trained now. She wears "chones" [undies] like the big girls do. AMAZING how time flew! And I thought I'd never get her to use the potty! It was a challenge for sure but she's made me so proud! She says "I love you too, Mom & Daddy..." and gives hugs and kisses on her own. It's adorable to see her turn into such a big girl! But the funny thing is she's still little! I mean, she'll always be our little baby but that girl won't gain weight! LOL She doesn't fit into the size 2T clothes yet. In fact, she swims in it! So she's just growing out of the 24 months. She's in that weird size where 24 months is a little too small now but 2T is WAY too big. Boo... no worries, she'll fit into it soon, I'm sure!
And me? Same ol' same ol! I FINALLY got my photography business going and I'm really excited! As time goes by, it gets better. I just gotta keep at it and not lose my passion for it! I still love to take pictures of still objects though for sure! And of course, my favorite subject is Sofia. Now that she's getting older, she can follow direction better which I LOVE! It's still a challenge but it's getting better. LOL This little set of picture was taken this weekend. We were playing outside in her little pool and of course, I had the camera handy dandy and took pics of her! I see her and I just can't stop staring at her... She's the most beautiful one to me... I'm sure all of us Moms feel that way about our children, right? Can you blame me? Anyway... I gotta run to the gym. Spin class starts in an hour! But I wanted to share this little podcast with y'all. It's Sofia and I singing to "Baby Bumblebee". She absolutely LOVES it! You can hear how well she speaks now.
