What's up.

This past week has been a very emotional one. Very stressful to say the least. So much so, it took a toll on my health. On Wednesday I woke up with extremely blurry vision. It really freaked me out. That has never happened to me before. I thought I had a stroke overnight or something! I quickly made a doctor's appointment and fortunately they were able to squeeze me in. To make a long story short - it was my blood pressure. It was extremely high. Probably the reason of my blurry vision and other nasty symptoms I'd been experiencing days before that. Fortunately the Doc who saw me was a different one (the one I have doesn't know jack!) and he put me on some new medication to help lower my blood pressure, control the heart racing/palpitations and anxiety. I can tell you, it's been HEAVEN ever since I took it. I feel so much more relaxed... energetic... just BETTER.

Thank the LORD.

  2. Do you suffer with heart palpatations too? I do also when I deal with anxiety. My heart doesn't race but it does this flopping sensation. After EKG (normal) and more talking with my doctor about it, he put me on some anti anxiety meds but I never took them. Instead I started taking magnesium supplements and they have helped a lot and magnesium also helps with anxiety. I have been feeling so much better since taking them. Barely no heart palpations except once in a while the last three weeks. I am hoping they stop altogether. I am glad you are feeling better. Take care of yourself and remember that hubby will be home soon. *hugs*

  3. Connie, OMG, yes! I get heart palpitations when my anxiety rises. It's so annoying and frustrating to say the least. I read your message earlier and went today to buy Magnesium. I hope they work for me. I couldn't sleep at all last night. My heart does that flip flopping you talk about. Like a "skip". It's scary! It seemed to get better when I sat up straight... weird.

Thanks for sharing the info. I'll let you know if it helped any. Anxiety SUCKS! *sigh*

  4. No problem. I am just glad to know I am not alone with this. It feels so lonely sometimes. I hope the magnesium helps. :)
