My Birthday...

was... nice. Not as awesome as it would have been with the hubby home with us but it was nice after all. I got tons of love on Facebook, Twitter, Flickr & on my phone from family & friends as well. Thank you all so much. During the day I took Sofia to the Zoo. It was a nice little relaxing time for us. We got to be outdoors and we got to feed ducks and check out all the animals in the Zoo... Towards the end of the evening, I was in Sofia's room washing her polkadot carpet and I got a call from my neighbor {my nephew's wife} asking me what I was up to. I told her I was just cleaning. She invited us to go to the Corn Maze Pumpkin festival thing going on in Las Cruces. When hubby was here we wanted to go but the day we decided to go it rained so we just stayed home. So I definitely want to take Sofia! So we're tagging along tomorrow. I hope it doesn't RAIN! lol After that she asked me if they could come over and hang out for a little bit. I said "Ummm... can I come over your guys' house instead? This house is wreck!" She said "Sure... we're at Grandma's house so if you want to come over, we're all here just hanging out." So we headed over there and when I walked in, they all started singing Happy Birthday to me! LOL They had baked me a cake and handed me a bouquet of flowers. How sweet was that? It was a wonderful surprise indeed! I was NOT expecting that at all... How thoughtful... So my Bday turned out to be NICE!
