Here is a short wrap-up of moments I feel are worth mentioning and re-reading on my blog that happened this year!
January:
I bought my new domain. Since I became a Mommy, I felt it was time for a change. And what a wonderful and refreshing change it was! =)
Feb:
Sofia had her 4 month checkup. OMG! She was so little! Awww...!
I spent a lot of time in Waco, TX with family so they could see Sofia grow... And while I was there, I bought me a new lens for my cam at the time. I miss that lens!
March:
Our tub (at our old house in San Antonio) got refurbished so I got to bathe with Sofia in it and she loved it. (I know, WOW. But hey, it was a big deal to us. That tub was YUCKY!)
I shared pictures of the "inner" nerd in me. Yep. I'm a nerd. Nerds are cool though. Seriously. hahahaha!
We had one cool Saturday. Went out to downtown San Antonio to check out some festivals. I shared pictures and videos. =)
April:
I announced the news about us officially moving to New Mexico in Sept 2008. I was so excited! I love it here. I'm so glad we live here now. =)
I was in California visiting familia. I spent a lot of time with my Sister in Los Angeles. And I got to meet a few of my blog readers, Mayra and Ana Banana. I split the time I spent there in between L.A. with Sis and Bakersfield with Mom. It was a great vacation. I hope to do it again this year!
One of my BFF's came to visit us from Cali. Lots of fun!
May:
Had a 10 year wedding anniversary. Sheesh! Seriously. Time flies! LOL
I had my first Mother's Day. It was awesome.
Sofia fell off our bed and almost gave me a heart attack.
June:
I wrote about buggers.
I wrote about how I was experiencing Heart Palpitations? Then turns out I had to wear a holter monitor for 30 days! Remember that!? OMG. I seriously think it was just stress and being unhappy in San Antonio. The weather stressed me out there. And well, a combination of other things but I feel so much better here now. [shruggs shoulders] Who knows. We'll have to wait and see if they come back.
July:
Colored my hair again. Burgund-ish. I digged it.
I decided it was time for another change and decided to try blogging with Squarespace.com You all followed me but have now followed me back here again. I have too much history (entries) with WP that I can't let go!
Pause here a minute. Since I blogged from July-Dec at Squarespace, I will not link any entries from there because the blog will be shut down soon and all you will get is an error message. But I will just "mention" some things.
August:
I discovered Mrs. Meyers and got hooked on her products.
My Sis in Law and niece came to visit us in San Antonio before we left. My Sis in Law asked me to do my nieces Senior Portraits. Sorta my first "gig" and they loved the pics so much. Made me proud. =)
September:
We finally packed up and moved to Alamogordo, NM! Fell in love with it the instant we got here. SO freakin' happy here, seriously!
We got our new house.
October:
I turned 31 years young. *cough cough* Notice how I say YOUNG. haha!
Sista and BFF came to visit from California for Sofia's 1st Bday at White Sands.
Twas a lot of fun!
November:
Sofia's molars break through. She had a miserable time with that. Poor baby. I cried with her.
I went in for an annual pap smear only to abnormal results a few weeks later. Had a small biopsy done and am still waiting for results. =/
Familia came to visit for Thanksgiving... we hosted it at our home. Craziness but awesome!
Dec:
I got sick for the first time this year. Being a sick Mommy stinks.
I decided to move back to this domain. haha!
And well the rest you know...
Craziness, right? Nah... it's been fun. I look forward to what 2009 brings. All I hope for 2009 is HEALTH & happiness. Not asking for much right? =)
How did 2008 treat you? Good or Bad? Anything you look forward to in 2009?

ReplyDeleteStephanie: Girl, I love you! You're like my lil' guardian angel! I sincerely believe you helped my little miracle (having Sofia) come true. Don't think I forgot about that little prayer box bracelet you gave me as a gift a few years ago. I wore it till it snapped and I couldn't wear it anymore. I remember I was in Cali in my Mom's car with her and Andrea. It snapped and I was like, "Ohhhhhh no... my prayer bracelet broke!" Andrea was like, "That means it's going to come true." I was like, "REALLY!???" She said, "Yeap." Well, obviously it was true because your little prayer in the box came true. I was blessed with a little baby! I luff you!
ReplyDeleteWe did nothing for NY's too. We are old as heck too! HAHAHA! Girl... you need to fill me in on what's happening! Call me this weekend or something, OK!??? It's an order! *besitos*
