What's going on!

Well hello there! So... I know it's been forever since I last posted but I wanted to pick back up from where I left off and inform you about that's happened and is going on in our lives.

Some of you may know this already but some of you may not. We moved to a new rental home last month.  Long story... but short version is... Landlord wanted to sell the home we were living in (we were renting) and we are not ready to buy so we moved out. We found a new home just a few miles away. Much bigger! 4 bedrooms/3 full bathrooms/HUGE kitchen (which I absolutely love!!!) and ready for this? An IN GROUND pool! Good sized too! Large backyard! LOVE it! Sofia gets in it almost every day!

The rent is a little more expensive but at least now we're completely happy with this place.

We spend so much time with our pets in the backyard now. LOL It's sad but true that when you have a nice backyard, you actually want to maintain it and spend time IN IT! We have grass now! Yay! haha

Oh! Joe made Mst. Sgt which is a BIG DEAL for us because he goes higher in rank and gets paid more too! We're so proud of him. He works so hard for all of us. He got word of getting deployed later this year so we're not looking forward to that. =( Deployments suck. We miss him so much when he's gone. And now that Sofia's a little older than the last time he went (last year) she will have a harder time - I know it. But we'll deal with it when it comes. I guess.

Sofia starts pre-school this year! She's going to be 5 in October already, can you believe it? Yeah, I know, she'll be 5 and just starting pre-school. It's just that she had to be 4 before the school year last year to start preschool then but she wasn't. So she gets bumped till the following school year. LAME! But hey... I'm not complaining really... I get to enjoy her another year! Even with Pre-School... we're thinking of only taking her a few days a week. Maybe. We'll see how it all works out.

My photography business is still going... yes! I go through months when I get no clients but it's slowly going.... I'm glad I get a few clients at least. Most of the clients I've gotten have been through word of mouth so that is good! Yesterday I did a photo session with a family and the Mom told me that she went with me because the photographer she had hired before had kept re-scheduling their session and just didn't seem professional so... [like Niurka Marcos says] "So sorrrrrry for yewwwww... photographer lady!" Thanks to your unprofessionalism, I got clients. LOL!

Let's see... what else is new... oh... this is but it's not great news. It's right down tragic and horrible. Remember BoLeo?

He got run over by a car and died on impact. It's really a long and sad story... but let me TRY to wrap it up into a nutshell. You know how we moved to a new house? Well... one of the side gates to the house doesn't close right. You have to pull it up really forcefully to get it to close. Well... we'd been having a pool guy coming over working on our pool and he didn't close the door correctly. I feel responsible because I shouldn't have trusted him to close it correctly himself. I should have went and double checked but I didn't. Then that day the winds picked up, we got a thunderstorm and the gate opened up and the dogs got out. And... he got run over in front of our house. I was veryyyy sad. I cried a lot that first day. The next day... was better... but I just realized I have to move on... He was my spoiled furry baby though! LOL Anyway... so that was that.

Now we have a new chihuahua. He'll never replace my BOBOS! That's what I used to call him. Never. But this new chihuahua is earning a space in my heart too. =) I'll post pictures soon.

Oh! I switched to my old name! I missed it so I decided to go back to it. Oh and yes, I'm on bloodspot now. *cross your fingers that it doesn't change! LOL I just wanted something more simple. Wordpress was a little much on me. I got tired of all the coding. *sigh*
