Lazy Kinda Day...

We were in our PJ's all day today. It stinks right now because we only have one working vehicle so Sofia and I are stuck at home all day. We manage though. At least I get stuff (aka CHORES!) done around the house. When Hubby was deployed and I had the car all to myself, we were out all the time and they hardly got done. I was always behind. We were either hanging out with friends, running errands or doing stuff to entertain Sofia - like go to the library or park. I'm hoping we can afford to fix our other vehicle soon. This not only stinks but it makes me lazy some days too. Since I don't have anywhere to go, I don't even feel like getting all dressed up or fixing myself period. It bites! Oh well.

Today I did get around to finally putting away the Christmas decorations.

Yeah... I'm one of those.... HAHA! Thank goodness we don't have a real tree or it'd be worse. We'd probably be creeping out in the middle of the night in late FEB trying to dispose of it. LOL! This is actually really good for me. I usually let it sit around longer. It was a little bitter sweet. The holidays are over... All those decorations made the house feel warmer for some reason. Maybe it was the lights shining from the tree? *hehe* Even when hubby got home and noticed the tree and decorations were gone, made a sad face. I love that when he said that Sofia comforted him by saying

It's ok, Dad! We'll take them out nextttttt Christmas...

Awwwe! So precious. We just looked at each other and smiled. She's so sweet.

I even organized our bookshelf. Even found a spot for this little owl I found on the discount rack at Target. Isn't he cute!???

I noticed my fishie was watching me when I was doing this. I think he was hungry. Ooops.


So we were stuck at home all day. Oh well... But at least I got some cleaning done around the house. That's always good! LOL
And the day was so pretty. It was cold but pretty.

Maybe tomorrow I'll take Sofia out for a ride on that new scooter she got for Christmas. Even though she's scared of it. I think what I need to do is schedule a playdate with her BFF and maybe she'll show Sofia that it's not scary but FUN! Because my fat butt won't fit on it, that's for sure. LOL!!!! Speaking of FAT BUTT.... I have some interesting stuff to share with y'all tomorrow. Until then... good night!
