Vacation all I ever wanted...

OMG'osh... how long has it been bloggy? It's so dusty around here, it's not even funny! I'm not sure what's been happening with me lately. I don't write like I used to. The passion for it kind of died. And I'm not sure why. No clue. Maybe I just needed a break? I really do miss blogging. Writing. Writing about non-sense. About what I ate, did over the weekend, what new things Sofia has learned and skills she has accomplished. About the song that brings back memories... about working out... etc. I'm going to try to write again. Not so much for you (because yes, I love you too - the 1 or 2 readers I still have here) but more for ME. When I did it for myself is when I would pour my heart out around here. And that is awesome for me to go back and read. That's what I've been doing the past few times I've come around here. And it brings a smile to my face to read about the things I was going through at the time.

I really do have a lot to say and write about but gosh, if I try to write about all that right now, this would turn into a novel! I'll just write about what I'm doing at the moment. Right now I'm in California. I've been here since about July 26th. Hubby, Sofia and I came down to visit family what originally was supposed to be just a short visit/2 week vacation. We ran into some problems with our vehicle and I ended up staying with the Sofia. Hubby flew back. We decided we'd take advantage and spend time with family anyway. Besides, Sofia would definitely bond with family while we were here. The plan was to stay until October... but umm... that didn't quite work that way. LOL Easier said than done to spend 3 months separated from my hubby. So to make a long story short? He's arriving tomorrow to come and pick us up. We'll be here for a week before we all drive back. Sofia and I have been here for 2 months. It's been awesome. LOVELY! Spending so much quality time with family but... we really do miss our home and we miss my husband a TON! Great memories have been created and some NOT so great. But that's life right?

This summer has been crazy HOT! Like, seriously HOT! Specially in the part of California where we're at. In San Joaquin Valley. HOT as HELL in the Summer. So... guess where most of our summer has been spent?

Yup! You guessed it! IN the POOL! LOL In my Mom's pool! I have a little tan going on and the bathing suit will actually need to get replaced next year! LOL Tons of fun splishing and splashing in the pool but dang! I'm ready for winter? Where are you? Show yourself! You can't get here soon enough!
