Not AGAIN!?

This weekend was LOVELY! The weather has been absolutely GORGEOUS here! I'm actually loving San Antonio right now! haha The humidity is practically non-existent right now which is very rare for this time of year. I dunno... the weather's freaky but I'm loving it at this moment. This weekend we just relaxed at home. We ended up buying a new grill and Sofia her first baby pool and she loved it! It was so much fun! I took a ton of pictures... I'm attatching some to this entry.

Here are some things worth mentioning:
*Sofia got her first tooth! It's busted through her gums already! And there's another one on the way! OMG, I swear I could have cried... my baby is turning into a BIG GIRL. *wahhhh!* LOL That's ok... she's just getting cuter and cuter everyday. I'm so proud of her. No more "virgin" gummies! [insert sad face here]

*I'm so ready to lose weight y'all! I'm joining a weight war with a grip of people online through TheDomesticDiva. I'm totally going to try my hardest to lose weight. Even if I don't win, that's ok. I just want to lose "some" weight. It's going to be hard, but I think I can do it. Woohoo! If you want to join us, leave a comment and I'll forward you the link when I get one. (She's still working on getting it all together and organized). Here it is.

*It's official. I've made the big switch. I ordered my new Nikon camera this weekend. I went ahead and ordered the Nikon d60. Some people told me I should have gotten the d80 or d300 but ummm... they're more expensive and honestly, I just want a good camera. Maybe in the future I'll upgrade (most likely I will) and sell this one but until then, this one will do. Sometimes a GREAT lens is all you need and in my case, I think that will apply. PLUS, I like the features this camera has. I can make stop motion videos through it! How neat is THAT!? I'll have to do some manual focusing with some lenses but that's ok... I think that'll be a great skill to master... so no biggie! I'm super excited! I also ordered some screw on macro lenses. Since I can't afford an actual "macro" lens, these will have to do for now. Woohoo! I can't wait. Now all I have to add to my list to buy "next time" is a cute camera bag, a new lens, and a new puffer. (I broke my old one, DOH!) Anyway, so yeah... that's that.



*I got my free tripod in the mail! I can use it for my point and shoot camera. It's so cute!

*I subscribed to Martha Stewart's Body + Soul magazine. Geez, how old am I? LOL Signing up for Martha Stewart magazines! They're neat though! They make me want to be crafty! hahaha

*I went to the doc on Thursday because I have been worried about my high blood pressure and experiencing some shortness of breath. They did an EKG on me and said I was ok. Doc didn't want to put me on medication cause she said it was high but not TOO high. WTH? If I die of a heart attack, you guys hunt her ass down, k? LOL! Just kidding. That's not even funny! I hope losing weight and getting back into workouts will help it lower it. I walk with Sofia in her stroller everyday but it's not enough I think. We'll see how that goes. I weigh 161 lbs right now. Augh. I feel like a cow. haha

*Went shopping for new clothes yest at Target. OMG, I love Target! They have such cute (and affordable) clothes! Dude, I fit into a size 11. That's so not cool! I HAVE to drop the weight. I'll feel better when I do. Remember 2 years ago when I was working out hardcore?

*I'm totally in LOVE with the "Marie Antoinette" movie and soundtrack. It rocks my socks! I got the 2cd's to it and that's what I've been rocking to on my iPod! Now I need to buy the movie. I wish I could pull her out of the screen in these scenes and place myself and Sofia in them... the scenes are GORGEOUS! My favorite in the movie.



*Last but NOT LEAST... I'm going back to Waco tomorrow and won't be back till next Saturday. Joe's going TDY to Florida again so yeah... I'll be MIA for a good while. Apparently, my in-law's computers are broke. Dang it! So unless I go out to some spot where there's free wifi, then I won't be online much. Sowwieeeee... I know, don't cry! baHAHAAAAAAA!
