Welcome to my new home!

Okie dokie, so I'm pretty much done here. Yayyy... I'm so happy. I heart my new domain. At first, I wasn't too sure I would use it after I purchased it and decided I would purchase a new one but I'm glad I didn't jump the gun because after thinking about it for a few days, I decided I really did like this domain. It "fits". Feels perfect. So a little intro about the domain and the look. Ok, so why the name? Well if you don't speak or read spanish, you won't pick up on the name right away. Mami stands for "Mom" in spanish. It's a loving name you use towards your mother. I call my mom that. And "Rosa" stands for "pink" in spanish. It also stands for "Rose" but I was thinking more of the colour so that's why I combined the two. I wanted to drop the word "pink" since I knew that creepy a-hole who emailed me about Sofia's picture might find me. I mean, who knows, maybe he's not even stalking me. Maybe it was just a random thing but you can't be too careful nowdays. Right? Besides, I was ready for a change. I was over at bonita in pink for 2 years. Now that I'm a mommy, this feels just right. I hope it's not too hard for you to adjust to the changes. LOL

Now about the look. I've used this "Oh So Very" theme once before at BIP except I wasn't too happy with it and I was lacking inspiration and creativity at the time to try to change the look. But after seeing Laurie's blog, I realized how much I really love it and she and Teresa inspired me with their designs to come up with the final look here. Thanks for the inspiration ladies! I decided to go with somewhat the same colors I have going on at BIP at the moment. I like them. Sweet but sexy! *giggles* And you guys know I love my thick stripes so I kept those too. Just added a different little twist to it. I'll probably add some more changes to it too soon. I've been busting my butt trying to get this all together. I'm pretty much done. I just wanted to start sending everyone over here.

Oh! Another thing, I got this idea from Oh My Stinkin Heck and Kerflop, to add screenshots of my readers' blogs on my sidebar. I thought that'd be a nice thing to do in return for you too. If you're interested in having your blog displayed under, "Blog Love" on the right hand sidebar, shoot me an email and I'll add it for you. K? *wink*

Now I just ask one thing in return. Yeah, there had to be a catch huh!? Naw, it's nothing really. Just a small little favor. Please don't change or update my link on your blogroll just yet. Bookmark to your webrowser for a little while if you don't mind. I really want to shake off some (stalkerish) peeps and I hope that in due time they'll lose interest in me. (Stalkers will go through any lengths to find ya and I know they'll probably visit your sites to find a link here.) So if it's not too much trouble, thanks for understanding. I'll let you guys know here when you can update your links. I just want to give it a little time.

And well, with that I say goodnight. I'm still not done around here. Still got some sharpening up to do but I'll finish that up eventually.
